Good video on evolution of Pulsar. Watching this video made me nostalgic. I have been riding (over 2 lakh km, and still running strong) pulsar 150 DTSi (kick start) since 2004. The bike is still in good shape and give better mileage. Looking forward to buy Pulsar 400CS. Thanks once again for uploading the video.

guys i am using pulsar from 2009,i owned pulsar 180,it was quit fast,loved to ride it fast,sometimes race,top speed was 122kmph,still love it,now i owned pulsar rs 200,i buyed pulsar again because i just love to ride this bike.and yeah everything whatever,if its getting old day by day,it will loose its performance,like humans.its just a machine.

Pulsar engines degrade quite fast after about 3 years of usage, thats the problem. Wheras Yamaha engines feel as good as new even after 5 years, if proper maintenance is carried out. I have owned a bajaj pulsar 150 ug4 so i know, and i have a friend who used to own a p180 ug4

But it seems like tvs has defeated the pulsar brand with the apache rr310 . I think now bajaj has to play catchup because tvs has given us a proper supersport bike with a dohc engine . Dohc engine is something Bajaj haven't brought to the market and now tvs has managed to bring it first . Bajaj seriously does not have a competitor to the apache 310rr.
Yesterday I bought Pulsar 220f. I didnt go for new gen pulsar like NS, AS, RS, CS because though they might have good engines but it lacks the simplicity, clean design and style of old gen pulsar. As an analogy - compare whatsapp and hike. While hike has more features like stickers and what not but still all that people use is whatsapp for its simplicity and clean design that eclipses the needs of all people. Thats is why pulsar old gen is still selling its like whatsapp.
actually they seriously need to improve engine component quality my Ns 38k kms done there are horrible vibrations !! even though if it is well maintained. I think I need to change piston block n timing chain ! but quality need to improve a lot ! hope you are listening it Bajaj! I know Bajaj is the only company which provides best bikes at low price then too at least improve a bit in quality!( I mean Rc200 1.75 where as Rs 1.33/48)
Release a new Pulsar 150 in Street fighter like the FZ style ,not NS style with a higher torque figure around 16NM and a sacrifice in 17PS of power can be accepted as both figures cannot be high at same time....and launchit it will be the 150cc bike once again... taking away crown from the gixxer

+Orion Mall yes the clutch seems to be culprit because engine sound of Pulsar200 NS changes when clutch is engaged & disengaged. There is some rattle sound from clutch cover when clutch is not pressed ( engaged )

my older pulsar 220 has the same problem, started when it was new, have lived with it like that for 9 years, went away with an engine overhaul, reappearing again thereafter. one permanent solution that has been extremely effective is to use earphones at moderate volume while riding.

well since auto expo we are waiting for cs 400 but looking at some recent spy images i am quite disappointed so many changes in production version we want same bike showcased at auto expo not some downgraded version. if images are of 200cc it is acceptable but if this is the 400cc bajaj will hurt so many fans. i mean just because collaboration with ktm you downgrade your own bikes! pulsar is bigger brand than ktm. no usd forks. no led headlight. no dual channel abs as standard. bajaj always comes up with something trend setting. hopefully the 400cc bike will be exactly same as autoexpo.

Lone Rider I have spent not more than 15000 rs on my non fi 220 since 2008. I work on my own bike. changing oil, oil filter, air filter , disc pads and spark plugs is very easy. so is correcting alignment, cleaning chain is no mess, why blow money on theives?
I owned a its 125 split seat version...but only issue with Bajaj mindset which I couldn't understand : No improvement on fitting and paint quality, very poor 👎

Dear BAJAJ auto please give some permanent solution to tappets of Pulsar 200 NS getting loose just after 3-4000 km run after every servicing
same problem i face every time , with lot of noises in engine but there s no tappet for this bike , there s some bearing problem

Bharath Reddy ns engine feels much better in traffic than the short geared duke. although bajaj quality I doubt is not same as that of KTM
