- Can We Find the Sewer Leak?! - Isolation Test AND Sewer Camera - Leak Detection
Today I'm in Dallas doing a sewer isolation test. There's a customer who has a sewer leak somewhere and we need to find it. But before we can close in on the exact spot of the leak, we need to test the cleanouts to make sure they're holding.

Wish we had someone like you around here! You are awesome! We so need a professional like you here.
Roger is the best on the market. He knows the ins and outs of the plumbing business like no other.
Use rain ex on your lens each time you use it. Helps
Also
Smoke test is a great way to test
If there is a leak sometimes camera wont show but smoke will.
You will see it come up in the yard
Basements
If a wax ring is failing or a failed trap you will see the smoke.
I like smoke test everytime a video inspection is done.
All the time! Static test. Pin point and isolate. Then tunneling! Repairing is easy if it's not in a beam! Do you always hydrojet cast iron? Wont it blow out a fitting?
Got a question for you Roger? What does an average home cost there in Texas? I plan on moving down there so i can have you as a plumber. The ones near me suck so i just need to get out of here as soon as possible.
What air hose are you using with the blow up ball for the isolation test? Needing something like that for a job
by code you have to have a two way clean out, for the past few decades here in Phoenix. Only really old homes do you see a single clean out.
Hello Roger, can you send me the link of that air hose you are using to push the test ball ?
Thank you sir:)
nice denim jacket, pretty cool with the logo and everything. Ive got one too but personally when i wear mine with jeans, i dont leave the house without my denim bandanna, dont forget the denim lined latex gloves for the dirty parts of the day. A pro tip: also keep an extra pair of denim socks in the van if yours get wet or sweaty. Also how does your boss feel about denim undershirts?
Are you using wax ring wax? And why?
2:24. Him licking his shitty finger was pretty funny.
🙄 what was the customers complaint? Why would they want to find a sewer leak?
I was hoping to see the jetter
You had a nasty job, It is nice to see you switched over from low temp soldering to high temp soldering. Code says that all underground copper connections must be silver soldered. Due to the acidity in the soil maybe it would be wise to paint all that pipe to protect the copper tubing from electrolysis , which is what is going on there. Going back to your soldering, it looked like you focussed on trying to build a bead on the shoulders of the couplings. Remember that low temp and high temp relies on physics of having the solder to enter into the joint which is called capillary action. When you solder, the intent is to have the molten solder enter the joint space and create a leak proof connection.
got to wonder what the bill was you look great but if the bill is like 12k then i would rather go with the guessers for like 2.5k
