This whole 18 second video was super great and concise, you don’t mince your words like other RUclipsrs and get straight to the point. This is why I’m subscribed.
I fucking love you. I started playing Smash for the first time a month ago and its been a very tough process for me. You have helped me tremendously and I have been beating my head against a brick wall playing Falcon. All in all though, he is an amazing character and has made me so much better at the game. THANK YOU
Dude, when you open up your encyclopedia of falcon on people in tournament when you reach your final form it's going to be a spectacle to behold. Not that it isn't already, that's why it's so insane. Your videos have greatly improved too, keep up the great work and thank you for the content.
It’s a shame that smash games since 4 have preferred zoner, heavies and sword characters over characters like Falcon, never really giving him a proper character balance to handle different types of characters. I guess that’s what happens when you have such a giant roster. Balancing takes too much work it seems lmao. Good work fatality. Really glad that you’ve been staying true to the spirit of smash/falcon despite complications. You and sethlon are one of my favorite players to watch!
Hey Fatality! Found this extremely useful - my neutral with Falcon has always been my downfall. But if I may input a constructive criticism - it'd be cool to see footage of you applying these neutral exchanges in action (e.g. tournament footage instead of just the training mode) so we can see how this all plays out in a match. Great guide otherwise :)
@@LeeJayBird21 I agree, it is a lot of work - that's why I'm not really complaining, just him talking about it is really helpful. It's just nice to get gameplay along with it. I'm pretty sure he has an editor but idk if he's paid.
Thank you for this info man, your knowledge really gave us all a higher perspective to see this character in. I really appreciate it, goodluck in your future tournaments :)
just an fyi: your linked Patreon page seems pretty dead, and still references Smash 4, rather than Ultimate. Idk if you still are trying to use Patreon at all, but I thought I'd say something in case it'd slipped your mind
Very impressive guide. 10/10 explanation, no complaints. Highly recommend anyone who wants to play Falcon or is already playing Falcon to take the words Fatality said here to heart and implement them in every facet of their play. It will take you very far with the character.
Thanks for keeping the falcon info and spirit alive my man . It’s not easy being a falcon main out here but we live on the edge every second of everyday ;) and our time in tournament play is coming . Mark my words - Smashngas96 (muahahahha evil fatality laugh 😅)
Didn't know about that "gentleman" jab... Was just doing rapid jab instead... that's help a lot! Hopely you will update the Combo guide with the last patch. Thanks for your hard work with his character and the hype you bring with him on tournament.
Wow, I never realized this, but this is really similar to how I play cloud. The only differences are the normals used and the fact that cloud forces approaches rather than needing to directly find a way in.
wtf i clicked for a falcon neutral guide not a lucina neutral guide 😐 oh that was just a bonus guide. Amazing! You always go the extra mile! Thanks Fatality!
Good video could you make a video on kill confirms I feel like I have a hard time killing my opponents whenever I try to play safe and when I do go for kills I have to like spam knee, falcon kick and down titl at ledge
Eddie Nicholas I’d recommend trying to use back air as a kill move at the ledge to punish high recovery’s as it is fast and kills at about 100 percent and above
Omg I never realized how slow dash dancing was until I saw you doing it. No wonder why people just play oongabunga characters that just run at you and are small so they don’t need to bait unsafe moves LOL
Attack cancel back air. After nair1, move the c stick to the opposite direction of your opponent, then immediately press jump, then immediately move the analog stick toward your opponent. This is really precise but with practice it should come as second nature.
Nair has two hits. The first kick and the second. They each have different properties. Rather than say the second kick of Nair, they shorten it and just say Nair 2.

Mr. Pipinpadaloxocopolis 😂😂
Lol
Fatality in my idol… but his “tutorial videos “ aren’t executed properly but they’re still VERY HELPFUL
How to be good with Falcon:
1. Be Fatality
2....
3. Profit
*2. ???

That sweet 16 second wholesome tutorial. My man fatality cutting straight to the point

The airdodge in 4 is actually good against zoners imo
You're great Fatality, great personality.

Yeah, it seems like 80% of his productive tournament games revolve around effective neutral games, whether that be avoiding traps or reacting quickly.
Sounds like a lot of work. He may have to hire an editor for that.

Who did you Up-B to get that *Yes* ?

Thanks a lot ! We are so lucky to have so many guides from the best falcon, keep the good work !

I’m so bad I actually believed you in the first 13 seconds
This was so helpful. I'm still continuing to learn more and more about C. Falcon by watching your videos

Thank you so much for this!
I needed this, thank you!
Thumbs up for that opening xD
You're getting a lot better keep it up!
That intro bit had me dying!
"Going Nair 1 into imagination" sounds so beautiful.
Didn't know about that "gentleman" jab... Was just doing rapid jab instead... that's help a lot! Hopely you will update the Combo guide with the last patch.
Thanks for your hard work with his character and the hype you bring with him on tournament.
"Dash attack outta shield into imagination"- fatality
an understandable guide, have a nice day
Good luck at Momocon again Fatality! I'll be rooting for you.
Really helpful vid, would love to hear more about how you go about your tech chasing.
Damn this video even comes with a free Roy guide? Neat, I was just learning him too!
Wow, I never realized this, but this is really similar to how I play cloud. The only differences are the normals used and the fact that cloud forces approaches rather than needing to directly find a way in.
heck yeah!! "go in & press buttons" finally some gives some useful advice!! :D
Good luck at Momocon!
Make us Captain Falcon mains proud up there! We're counting on you! :..)
This is great. Thank you. :)
I love your videos man!!! They're really useful:)
LOL that beginning was funny af
I like the way he says buttons
Man you've really spoilt us fellow falcon mains with these guides. Hats off.
Fatality I love you, you inspire me so much and I really wanna meet you
Griffin is a super chill guy. Ran into him on a few occasions while at recent majors.
thanks man
Falcon's upsmash is as fun as Ganon's brawl/sm4sh one. Combos into imagination, kills, and is relatively safe, especially under plats.
Try it out.
You mind sharing what upsmash combos into
@GameSupport it combos into knee at 0-5% and up air or up b past that depending on the character
wtf i clicked for a falcon neutral guide not a lucina neutral guide 😐 oh that was just a bonus guide. Amazing! You always go the extra mile! Thanks Fatality!

that beginning though lol
you fixed one of my biggest problems with falc
Remember the old days when you just dash grab/attack and boom that’s neutral?
YES
Omg I never realized how slow dash dancing was until I saw you doing it. No wonder why people just play oongabunga characters that just run at you and are small so they don’t need to bait unsafe moves LOL
Still no idea how you start with neutral 1 and somehow go into a back air
Attack cancel back air. After nair1, move the c stick to the opposite direction of your opponent, then immediately press jump, then immediately move the analog stick toward your opponent. This is really precise but with practice it should come as second nature.
There's a video that explains how to perform attack cancel visually
lmao that intro
Why am I watching this I can't do a nair 2
Would you make a video on how to read opponents / gather information on them? Seems very relevant to Falcon play.
That intro...
What’s the best way to use platforms with falcon
I thougt it was a 15 second video😂😂 you got me
They don't respect my buttons? Don't you mean singular button? All I have is a neutral "B" on my gamepad.
Can someone explain what Nair 1 and 2 are? How can there be 2 neutral airs?
Nair has two hits. The first kick and the second. They each have different properties. Rather than say the second kick of Nair, they shorten it and just say Nair 2.
how do you instant walk?
Everyone knows the key is to press buhtuns
THAT INTRO THO lol griffins the best (am i first to comment)
noup
It's not a neutral guide, it's a guide to be the best falcon is the world and that's you. Im disappoined, i subbed
I hate falcon's dash dancing animation in this game, he looks like a sucker even N64 falcon's looks flashier
I found new advanced falcon tech. When the game starts, quit out then select random. Chances are you'll get a better character.

Am I the only one who dislikes neutral in Ultimate? It feels very dumbed down for most characters.
Depends which game you're coming from.
@Bren Smash games or fighting games in general? For Smash games I've played Smash 4 and Melee, and I play a shit ton of "traditional" fighting games.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense then. The only game listed with a more linear/simple neutral is Smash 4 lol
2 dislikes lol
