Great video brother. Question for you, once you set everything up the first time, do you need to keep it connected to the computer? For example, you set everything up the first time, after that can it stand alone (w/ a video input and LAN connection) and me just hit “Go live?” Thanks!

I would like to ask if you tried to connect it to wifi repeater directly? i mean i have an event coming and they told me that wifi only can be access not ethernet to the venue. so i was thinking if will it work if the venue Wifi router to wifi repeater/bridge to ethernet connect to web presenter hd? what yah think? i will be still using phone tether as back up. thanks
@@AJaytheCEO would love to hear back once you know more. I bet they include this in a future update. Having it only go to a few services is somewhat limiting for what I do. You know BMD, our customers are also out beta testers.
You cannot connect audio directly to this. You would need something in the middle like the atem TVs HD or a computer to bridge the video and audio together then send it to the web presenter.
@@AJaytheCEO Via SDI input with the video ? Is there a way I can process audio before it goes into the web presenter because I am using Blackmagic Television HD mixer to get the feed for both audio and video and it doesn't have proper audio processor?
@@SilverGas147 The television HD has audio inputs and will embed audio into the SDI output for you. Use whatever your current audio mixing situation is to input into the mixer. If you're saying that your only audio sources are camera mics being sent over video lines, there's not a simple way to process individual audio channels other than through BMD's built in mixer (the ATEM app for computers is the simplest way to mix on a switcher like that). I bought the first web presenter. Beside the fact it could only do 720 video capture, the image quality was very poor, so it was usless. The worst money i have ever spent.
I have no issue with the image quality. Still using it for Zoom since zoom can only do 720p and most of the time, only 360p....Zoom degrade the image, not the encoder.

no you do not need to especially if you have it set to persistent key streaming

Good review! Curious to see if they will have RTMP support instead of just a limited list of services. Did you ever find a way to edit the XML file?

If you can link it to restream yes but I'm not sure as I had to installing it so I can't do any other testing at this time

I never used the first one. Did it have stream quality settings?
@@AJaytheCEO no. It has not. Just open in OBS and set stream from there. But could not use it beacause of the poor image quality.

@@shem44 i was trying to use the WP with OBS to stream to youtube and facebook. But could not. The image was a mess.
