J'ai écouté avec un grand plaisir ce concert aujourd'hui jour de son anniversaire, bravo BOB pour tes 80 printemps !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! et merci à vous Mr Cooper.
Thank you so much! I had a cassette tape of this show that held on as long as it could. (R.I.P. 2008...ish) Thought I'd never hear this again. Made my day, for sure.
i was there, 16th,18th and 19th. but i haven't heard a recording of it until today. wow, what a gift! What a beautiful concert! Although as I remember, the room is so small, the sound was a bit loud and washed out, this recording is actually a much cleaner sound than what i remember. From this recording it can be heard what incredible musicianship was being played, and some of the renditions of some of these numbers are priceless! No joke.
Pretty sure Bob released some songs from these shows as CD "B-sides," and he used recordings made by this taper and his Schoepps microphone for the official release. The word at the time was that Bob preferred the taper's results to the soundboard recordings.

The tour with Paul Simon was 1999. But you're right it was a great set. I've tried to restrict this site to tracks which aren't to be found elsewhere on RUclips. Glad you like it.

You're welcome! Thought it was about time I shared all the obscure stuff I had. When I realised a lot of people hadn't got. Glad to make your day.

Post heart problem -happy to be alive-rockin-Bob! Didn't Paul Simon go on this tour with him, or was that the year before?
