Honestly, I didn't think her making it very abundantly clear she didn't want any "surprises", given how much anxiety Arthur had about taking his dad's cooking to his school, was her being bratty. If it's your birthday, you have 100% the right to go "Hey, it's not DAD'S birthday or ARTHUR's birthday, it's MY birthday so I get what cake I want" and... honestly while people dunk on white cake, a good white cake with vanilla buttercream can be next level. I got the vanilla mousse filled cake from costco for my birthday last month and I ate almost the entire thing by myself. I was a little ashamed of how much cake I ate in two days lol

Pretty sure I’ve already said this but DW DID NOT get the shark tooth from the museum that day - she got it from the AQUARIUM in the episode Arthur’s tooth! She bought GUM at the museum, which is what she was chewing on the way home! Remember their mum said they could each buy ONE little thing, yet DW is chewing gum in the car, implying she bought that instead of the shark tooth. 🤦♀️

My favorite FU DW was the Crazy Bus episode. Crazy Bus is to DW what Surfin Bird is to Peter Griffin. And I especially like that edit where Arthur beats up DW in the motel room and she's screaming for her life. And of course, the Big Hit is iconic.
I suffered with body dysmorphia and emotional eating since I was 5 years old so Arthur's body image issues hit home for me I still struggle with it till this day
We all know D.W. doesn't want to grow up because then she'll have to stop torturing everyone around her, and that's something she can never do. Also, you think this is bad? You should see the special "D.W. and the Beastly Birthday." Where she complains that everything is going wrong, hides away, and dreams about living on an island with horrific beasts (seriously, look up a picture, they're scary.) Meanwhile, Arthur dreams about four years in the future, where D.W. has actually become mature, and now Kate is the jerk. Yeah, it's not very good.

I'm interested in seeing what you will do going forward. The character spin-offs, more "It's just a cartoon", etc. I think it could be fun to even see simple episode breakdowns (not DW or character centric) in your style. Humourously summing up the events of any given episode could be fun, even if it isn't a DW heavy episode.
