- Breezeline Internet Review. I know I keep calling them Breezway, but it is actually Breezeline internet! And my experience with them has been very good so far. The service technician was very helpful and professional, the service is as good if not better than the much more expensive Spectrum Internet, and now I'll save close to a hundred dollars a month after switching.
So, it was a very easy decision to make the switch, although I was skeptical at first because they are a new company, or at least a name I hadn't heard of. All and all, we're happy with the switch. Also, I have no affiliation with Breezeline, and I understand that not everyone has the same experience, and that someone else may have had a horrible experience. So again, this is just my personal experience.
I see some people have issues with these guys and my review. I purchased a $300 router/modem combo and completely bypassed any equipment fees. I'm only using my equipment. Had zero issues, can't speak to how service is with their equipment. I switched from Spectrum to save money and I really can't tell a difference in the service at all. But that's just my experience.
It wouldn't be a problem with your equipment since most modems and routers or combos will work with any isp. You seriously need to look at there Facebook and see the countless people who have the same issues with there service. Start doing speedtest during peak hours which is 8pm to midnight. I will bet you your gig service will be cut at least in half even with no one using it. Your pings will be dialup high as well. I'm telling you this as someone who has almost 20 years behind network infrastructure, believe me there's is a joke. I'm sorry if you don't have all the facts but you need to do a bit more looking at the business practices of this company. One other thing to note, I have the same model of modem you bought and even that one causes issues on there service. Just please, do a little fact checking you will see why reviews like this irritate people like me who have all the facts.
I have zero issues. Runs great for me. Hence my review. Also I'm saving over $100 a month. With 5 people running multiple devices most of the day.
Just ran another speed test on my phone. 550mb download and 51mb upload from the opposite side of my house, downstairs, over Wi-Fi. Getting 965mb wired at my router/modem. Peak time on a weekend! Working great, as I've said.
What router are you using?
I'm 65 & had spectrum for 2 wks & it worked great for 1 wks then (no Internet)& they couldn't fix it & the price went from $35 to $66.99... so I dropped them...is breezeline better?
I haven't had any issues with them. But I've has people on here say they've had a lot of problems with them. So it's hard to say.
I pay $9.99 a month for 500 mbps, $25 promotion, $10 autopay, $30 ACP Discount. Promotion last 1 year.
Breezeline in Maine is horrible, I just installed a modem they had listed, their tech service had no clue what was going on. They are awful.
waiting for docsis 4.0 cable modems/routers to come out. 😎
I just updated my plan with breeze line. I've been with wow for more than 5 years. I had the 200 plan for 55$ a month. Now their new deal is any 12 month plan for 29.99. soni took the 1000 mbps. I was running at 135mbps in wifi. Now with the 1000mbps and I'm only getting 77mbps. For my wired PC I'm getting 147mbps
I have a very similar issue did you end up finding
Out what was wrong
@@wyntonfreemab5907 kind of. They were able to fix my PC that is hard wired. They replaced the old connections with new and better. As for my WiFi no. I keep getting the run a round. Their latest excuse is. I should buy a iPhone. Because android isn't as good.
@@frogmanpipes9561 what router do you have? What android phone do you have?
@@passionatetechnology8306 galaxy z fold and the router that they provide.
@@frogmanpipes9561 your phone can hit up to 1 gbps in an ideal situation. Realistically, you should be getting 150-300 Mbps depending on your proximity to your router.
I would recommend you make sure your phone is updated on the newest version of android available and all the apps are updated.
Try a speed test after that. If you do not have a phone plan with them, I would switch the motorala modem that is in the above video. You will need to call Breezeline and have them add the modems MAC address to their network.
Dont live in a rural area in VA. I have never gotten the speed i pay for, glitches daily. Literally will go out if a dog pisses on a fence 5 miles away! I bought my own router, doesn't make a difference .
Have to unplug and replug back in the modem because it craps out every damn day.
Is it a rented modem or your personal modem? I purchased a really good modem/router. Haven't had to do that.
@@FitsandFun Exactly I have an ARIS SB8200 which works perfectly with Breezeline Internet. Never needs a restart and delivers 945 X 53 Mbps consistently even during peak hours.
I am calling bullshit, you can't even get breezeline on the phone.
Call it whatever you want. It's been flawless for me for $29 a month. Don't care if you like or get the service.
speedwise identicle as other comany
You're getting a lot of shit in the comments but fuck em. Thanks for the review
Please run tests after 8pm. 4pm isn't peak sorry.
I'm good. Like I said, no issues. If you don't like it then don't get it, makes no difference to me. You've wasted enough of my time trying to tell me the service I have sucks and I should be having issues that I don't. So sorry, but my service has been fantastic.
@@FitsandFun I guess trying to get someone to see the truth gets nowhere anymore. Even trying to shed facts and you aren't listening. Fine, be oblivious like everyone else that doesn't have the facts. One day when you start seeing the issues like everyone else has, you will wake up. I feel sorry for you cause another one lost to the lies of breezeline. I for one will keep giving spectrum service cause they are so much better. I'd rather pay more got service that works then pay less for sub par service. Enjoy living in a fantasy world.
Ok, sound good.
Biased.
👌
Propaganda
No, I tried them out and they have been great. And I'm only paying 29.99 a month. I'm a review channel, I review random things in my life. But I did spend $300 on an amazing modem router combo.
Me thinking this guy got paid off my breezeline since anyone who has even the slightest knowhow or a brain would see that they are a joke. To add, he didn't get the name right at all, and 24 devices? This guy's review can not be trusted. If all those devices were on using bandwidth he would notice how bad breezeline is cause even with 1 person using it, it has a meltdown. Wonder if he related to someone on the inside to give them praise cause any normal person won't. Please educate yourself on this company and take this bias review down
I'm still using it, still having no issues, and still only paying 29.99 a month. I could not care less if you or anyone believes me. I give my reviews, my way on what I want to review. Not here to blow smoke, and I don't need views or subscribers. So if you don't like my reviews, tough shi#. Don't watch.
I just got this and I don't break 100 while wired!
Are you using a Gigabit port with the proper cable?
Because I'm around 960 wired
@@FitsandFun I'm using the included hardware that came with their modem/router.
I'm not using their router, so I'm not familiar with it. But I'd check your computer and make sure it's capable of running over 100mbs. It needs a gigabyte port I believe to reach those speeds.
@@FitsandFun thanks, I'll do some research on this.
Breezeline is Absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced since the now defunct Sprint cellular!
This company took over WOW, which was a good company. Since Breezeline took over my internet has been so BAD. The QOS of the signal is terrible. The connection is full of corrupt bit and packet re-transmits. All this means the actual bandwidth is cut by 75% even though I pay for a 1 Gb conn4ction, in real life I can barely get 300 mb. My streaming video is constantly buffering now. And the connection frequently get shutoff during the daytime business hours. causing me to have to clock off work and lose money. All the while Breezeline still charges me for the non-existent connection. I rarely ever had any problems with WOW. Now I have nothing but problems with them. The only other company in town is Spectrum which isn't much different since they took over Time Warner. As soon as I can find any company to handle my needs I am dropping Breezeline faster than a hot potato!!!!!! This company doesn't really care about its customers!!!!!!!
When you call they just give you platitudes and don't act like they really care and they don't do anything to really fix the issue with connection quality. Spectrum might be an acceptable but temporary option. Spectrum doe have better prices !!!!!!
where are you located? where is OP of the video located? I am reading a lot of people from OH have issues
@@yanglickberg5406 It may be crap in Ohio, not sure. Here in new Hampshire Breezeline performs extremely well. Honestly I am getting 945 Mbps download and 53 Mbps upload speeds 24/7. This is the next best thing to a fiber internet connection.
