The best combo you can do is 3m1s then barrage then three 1ms again then press y after that they are stunned use f then timed e once that's done you can use 3m1s barrage then three m1s again then press t, then use standless f then r and e the best ge combo in aut rn.
Blocking the vines and snake kick is like the only way to reduce the damage in this obnoxious combo. Edit: of course, blocking them while in the restrain move

I think you can dodge the root stab by rolling but i havent tested it
