Yes, changed to Avian 60A esc I had lying around. That handles the 4s and gives me telemetry. The prop is working out fine. Only thing that would make this better would be Ar637T with an integrated barometer (Vario) that gives you nice vertical speed tones. I have been flying the fox for a while now. I can stay up long times. I did 48 minutes the other day 😁
Great glider.. there is a pocket of air that acts like a cushion.. Your glider will ride that forever if you don’t use flaps properly. It’s called “the ground effect”.🇦🇺👍
Your supposed to use crow braking with flaps deployed to cut the lift. Flaps down to slow the approach, then crow brake to kill the ground effect lift induced by flaps. Crow brakes reduces the length needed to land.
I did learn that my next few flights. Like you said with the flap and Crow she slows down nice, looses the lift quick. Landing it in my back yard now. Thanks 👍
I hate maidens as well, especially hand launch ones. Thanks for demonstrating that Murphy's law does take a break from time to time. Well flown.
Thats what gliders do… glide :)
Did you have to change the ESC and prop? I know the motor can handle 4s ;-)

Nice, the motor is original or changed too?
Kept the same motor. I think any more power to this frame would not be a good idea ;)
