francisco saavedra thanks, we'll probably need it a bit more with our crazy coach with his weird decisions, ignoring a keeper that keeps Brazil at bay in Brazil (cleansheet), keeps Italy at 1 goal at the very end of the match just because our fieldplayers apparently didn't feel like finishing them off in a friendly (endscore 1-1), keeps Manchestery city including the Spanish striker Negredo at bay for 90 minutes and keeps Newcastle afloat vs Tottenham when Newcastle is completely outplayed on the pitch until they get to Krul, who just stops everything they throw at him, endscore, 1-0 win for Newcastle, while Krul was looking into a low hanging sun for most of the game, making 14 saves in the process. Then our coach picks 2 players from our league that each scored 1 goal all season (while not even being injured for many games as an excuse) and ignores the guy/talent that has scored 10 times as many in the same league in the same season and was a major part in defeating Barcelona without Messi (a.k.a. Spain) with Ajax in the Champions League (Blind and Clasie ahead of Klaassen, or a guy who's been injured all season also gets selected ahead of him, Wijnaldum). Then there are just the general weird, sometimes outright stupid things he says in front of the camera (the media in Holland also knows just how to play him and get him to snap at them). I just hope Chile won't embarrass us too much and focus their best game on teaching Spain a lesson in South American football instead of us. If it weren't for Costa, I know we can definitely beat Spain, and so can Chile as everyone has seen last WC if they saw how Chile got screwed by the ref vs Spain (and then we got screwed by the ref in the final when he refused to give us a corner shortly before the goal, or a foul in favor of Elia when they sandwiched him, to me and Mathijssen that was a clear foul (and the Dutch tv-reporter going on about offside, that wasn't the point). Ah, so many bad memories, so many times we were close and someone snatched it away from us, usually involving poor referee decisions at some point in the game (Bebeto scored an offside goal vs us in 1994 using the old offside rules, Brazil becomes world champions, Germany gets an easy penalty in the final in '74, Germany champions, Argentina in '78 has this weird government that wants to oppress people and buy a tournament to distract them from the dissappearing people as has been proven in the courts in Peru decades later, where someone was convicted for match-fixing involved in the Peru-Argentina game to give Argentina an easy pass to the final, Argentina becomes world champion, 1990, just won the EC with vBasten and Gullit, everybody's favorite to win the WC or at least have a great match with Maradonna's Argentina, we have internal coach and team friction issues, West-Germany, who we already beat 2 years before becomes champion, 2006, the battle of Nuremberg, the Portuguese take time stalling to the extreme by running up to the referee after every whistle regardless if the call was in their favor or not and attempting to make or 'draw' fouls by falling down for whatever contact there is or running like crazy into the opponent as quickly as possible to do these little Jerry Springer episodes as often as possible, referee does nothing about it, throws around some red cards and lets Figo screw over Bouhlarouz in this exact manner of intentionally running into someone and then pretending to be hurt, who did nothing wrong in that move just using his body to shield the ball (if he was going to send him off, he might as well have done it when he injured Ronaldo, but not for this stupid fakery, that just makes you hate the guy who pulls it off, i.e. Figo), Figo goes in low on purpose to fake his pain, vBronckhorst and Deco have fun talking about the game on the sides making for a great brotherly picture in the midst of a warzone, just 2 guys enjoying football, Portugal wimpers out the next round after having been severely weakened by all the red cards, and 2010, well I already mentioned the Elia thing, which was the referee decision that upset me the most cause it destroyed good entertaining football, the corner mistake I can sort of look through the fingers, as is not noticing a diving Iniësta, allthough that still makes me miss that bald Italian ref with the big eyes who hardly missed those tricks, Pierluigi Collina, there's a video on youtube somewhere with the details concerning the bad referee decisions during 2010's WC-final, but it sort of happens at every WC). Let's hope for a clean game between us with a good referee, let football do the talking and no Jerry Springer stuff that just ticks away the time with players shouting and arguing instead of just playing the damn game.

But the 5th goal was bonus. Never expected that one. I can talk openly about the trap now, cause it's been sprung anyway (and we can't keep Blind under the radar anymore anyway). 3-1 was more my aim/hope. Provocative tactics, that was the idea, let them think there's something to get on our side of the field. Of course being negative about ones backline and keeper is part of creating that illusion and you can't expect van Gaal and the media to do everything on their own, I gotta help. We're doing a Comedy Caper. The first Caper has already been succesful, beating the Champions League finalists and semi-finalists with a mostly Feyenoord + 1 Ajax player defence (all eredivisie clubs, which have sucked in Europe for more than a decade and are easily underestimated by the big name players of Spain). The entire Caper will be capering that Cup away from under the noses of the South Americans and all the other top favorites (Spain, Germany, Italy for those who think they have a chance). Good encouragement for Chile to give it a real go against Spain as well and not try half-heartedly (not really believing in yourselves, still unfairly looking up to a team of mostly divers, or at least guys who fall down and take the freekick with more determination than trying to score a goal, just don't give them a chance to turn the outcome of the match with 1 or 2 referee favors).
