you definitely fooled me. as long as you continue to talk about the practical realities of time tracking and other organizational tools i couldn't care less
Automation is much of the programming that I done in accounting and logistics. It's saved so much time that I made up the time spent programming instead of doing the job that I was supposed to be doing accounting and analyzing logistics.
I have used all of Grey's techniques for uploading video and staff, and they became very handy.
Too bad my accent sucks. (I made my first vid today...)
Grey, Myke... I feel personally bamboozled. How dare you.
I had a feeling the shows were recorded one after another cause of the cliff hanger
notification squad let's go!!
what was that siren at 44:48... which one of you is in america
now I have to figure out which episodes are continuously recorded from now on ?
1:22:31 hearing Grey say "mega-office" with the R is disorienting
Myke Hurley 4.0 - now API enabled!
62 is the answer to the interview questions? It should have been 42.
I just thought it was so obvious by the way the episode before ended in a cliffhanger and the way the video after started that it was from the same recording day. Why would the listeners acknowledge something so obvious lol
THESE KIDS AND THEIR WORDS THAT MEAN NOTHING!
Grey why don't you just start an open source project where we can help you make the perfect time tracking and time management app
"leaf on the wind" Grey has been in England for too long lol
I love CGP Grey and I've tried over-and-over again to listen to these podcasts; however, they are often boring. You have great set topics which you cover well, but it's all the supposedly funny banter in between the smart topics which kills it for me. The banter makes it seem like you’re just rambling on for over an hour. Eventually you get to your topics, but I often must fast forward or rewind to get the meat of your conversations. My suggestion: Either learn to be funnier or get shorten of the small talk in between your main topics. I love the work you guys do. Please don't be offended by my criticism. I really do enjoy what you are doing on the web.
Is it me or is this show becoming more a circlejerk about saved minutes?
Smitje Seriously though I was like ok give it another few minutes surely they are about to talk about something interesting soon. Gave up at about the hour mark.
That's LITERALLY the entire point of this podcast, this isn't Hello Internet
hmmmm did I just listen to an hour and a half long podcast about how you manage your time for your buisness. this sounded like a meeting you two should be having off air.
Did we? I think we might have.
The last 10 or so episodes were really heavy in that sense. I enjoy it, going to try out a few things they discuss. But definitely could be boring for some.
A little late to the comment section: That is the nature of podcasts, Myke does have one about pens.
