N.Flying is pretty unknown compared to more mainstream groups. They were more active in Japan in their early years, but are currently promoting in Korea. If you liked this cover, try their live performance for "Flowerwork" (the one for their Fly High Project Note Concert, available on YT) which is one of their Korean songs. Their earlier songs were very quirky (like "Hot Potato" or "The Real") though in recent years they've definitely leaned more towards pop rock. There's a lot of unique aspects about this group--there are two vocalists (Seung Hyub is the one in black who sings in the lower tone; also responsible for rapping; Hwe Seung is the one with pink hair, officially the main vocalist). Also, Seung Hyub, also known as J.Don, is behind most of the songs they release. Outside of the stage, this group are absolute hams. They truly enjoy music, and it shows in every stage that they're on.

They don't normally do this hard rock in Korean scene. They have some hard rock tracks but mostly in Japanese. They have a RUclips channel for their Japanese stuffs, from where you found this video.
But in their official Korean channel, you'll find treasure that is their live performance playlist.
Feel free to explore it. They're amazing live.

Its an ost from Demon Slayer and it quite popular too thats why you find it familiar..
Yes they are korean boyband from FNC Entertainment (FTISLAND, CNBLUE, AOA, SF9, CHERRY BULLET, P1HARMONY..)
They have been around for 9 years, they made their debut first in Japan on 2013, then made their korean debut on 2015.
They actually have quite variety of genres though. If you trying to find something similar to this, I would say to listen their Japanese discography like Lupin, Pinhole and their korean songs such as Video Therapy, Moonshot, Flower Work or Awesome(their debut song)
Should also mention their hit songs like Rooftop, Flashback, Hot Potato, The Real, Songbird..
I also want to recommend you to listen their live performance cuz their stage presence is amazing 👍🏼
Thank you for reacting to N.Flying. They going to have their comeback on 17th October ☺️

It's not an ost it's literally the opening of the first season, also they are nowhere near as good as lisa is when it comes to vocals. Just listening to the part at 7:00 it sounded so much worse than the original, so plain and without any emotion.

@@homeisgood6248 i see, thank you for correcting me for the first point.
And for the second point, i dont think i need to argue on this. It was never mentioned that they were as good as Lisa. I guess you never listen to their other songs while judging their vocal. I respect your opinion, but honestly it doesnt even matter to me 🙂

@@Kass983 There is no such thing as an opinion when it comes to technique, you either are good at it or not.
I good comparison for that would be a mozart vs someone who just started learning to play piano, now obviously mozart would have had much better technique than the beginner and it's the same case here.

Since you liked this I would recommend their song Flowerworks (live) and a song from their latest mini album “Monster” (live) their live is always a treat. For covers, they have a Queen medley cover which is lots of fun.

N flying is South Korean band that debuted back in 2013
They band use to have more of a hip-hop influence as they use to have a main rapper/vocalist tho in 2017 they got another main vocalist and their stuff became slightly more pop rock influenced
They are about to release a new song soon
If your interested they recently did this amazing medley of league of legends songs and Seunghub the leader/rapper/vocalist of the group goes off

In Korea rock isn’t very mainstream (although some groups have been experimenting with it) so a lot of their Korean releases are a bit more on the pop side. In Japan bands are more popular so they’re Japanese songs are more rock influenced.
They are having a comeback soon (their last comeback before their guitarist and drummer enlist 😢) so stay tuned for that! They also recently did a medley of some League of Legends ost’s if you want to check that out. And of course the songs that other people have been mentioning are really good. They also have clips of live performances on their channel (and they are really good live).

Japan has a lot of pop music, it's just that there is more soul, emotion and technicality behind it instead of just singing songs written by others, having the most basic pop chord progressions ever and randomly throwing in rap that doesn't even fit to the original sound.

@@homeisgood6248 I’m referring more to N Flyings discography than Japans overall music industry. Believe me, I probably listen to more jpop than kpop on my Spotify, so I know how much it varies. Most of the kpop groups I do listen to contribute to writing their own music, like N Flying.

N.Flying is a korean band, alternative rock !! they have such diverse discography, their japanese stuff is more i guess hard rock. their other covers are just as amazing, one of my faves is definitely their king gnu cover !! highly recommend it. their live performances are insane bc they have such amazing stage presence so i highly recommend checking out them too !!
    i recommend:
    - their newest korean album 'dearest', especially the track Monster
    - hot potato, the real, rooftop, songbird, moonshot, flowerwork, (korean tracks, tho the original version for songbird is the japanese version)
    - kick-ass, stand by me, pinhole, songbird ( japanese tracks, the whole brotherhood album is fantastic !!)

I've subbed because I just love a person that loves to rock out and can really feel the music! As other comments have said, if you liked this, you'll like Flowerwork and Awesome live versions, and the more recent League of Legends OST Medley.
This group is criminally underappreciated. I know you like the rock side, and I think you'll dig their Japanese works the most. But if you give their more quirky Kpop side a chance, those songs are fun too. They also have a lot of deeply meaningful B-sides that I hope you'll give a chance too. Their vocals and harmonies are to die for, and Seunghyub's raps are insane. They have a lot of incredible covers, and one I always recommend is Taeyeon's "I". You might not love the song, but I think you'll appreciate the vocals and musical arrangement.
