That's so cool (emu on beach) and all those dolphins captured from the drone!!! What a beautiful place.

you mob get more bogged than anyone I have seen! In most vids I have watched, you haven't held anywhere the right momentum/right gear in the sand.
With your rig (I have a similar weight camper) you'd be best served with 18psi on the rear of car, and 16 on front of car and camper. (or even lower on softer stuff- even down to 10/12 psi)
hold 4x4 in third gear manually, which will help a lot.
It's all a learning. Nice to see you getting out there and trying it all out.
    Safe travels.

Thanks for the tips Aaron, you’re right we still have a lot to learn but I also think we get bogged so often because we go where others chose not to! 🤔 glad you’re enjoying following along with the antics. You’ll be excited (or maybe not?) to know that we have a big bogging coming up in a few weeks. Not ideal! 😂

Wow the wildlife on this episode was amazing. I love the Coffin Bay Emus, and that little wallaby was so cute. So many dolphins ❤

It is amazing how much we have seen! The emus are our absolute favourite. We don’t really have them in Tassie and they’re just hilarious! Thank you so much for watching Robyn! 🤩

Heyo! Beaches are just gorgeous down that way! SA is one of the spots we definitely can't wait to explore 😁
Tip for the traction control. Press and hold the button for roughly 15 seconds to shut it off completely. Once pressed the light will come on after 2 or 3 seconds, keep holding and it'll start flashing and you're good to go 👌

      It’s amazing down there!
Question is your car a manual or auto? I have tried this but found the only way to truly turn it off is if we are in sport mode with a gear selected,
Or maybe I’m not doing it right!
Fingers crossed I’m doing it wrong!

That point where u had the blue and black shackle for the tow/ snatch is not rated. It’s a light duty tie down point for when the cars are shipped over on a boat. Be careful doing any serious snatches off that you can wreck a chassis or it can fly loose and hurt someone…
Keep up the great vids, love your work. Stay safe

You need to let more air out of your tyres on SA beaches good starting point is half your normal psi, and drive at the top when the beach is steep, when you go to limestone coast the sand is soft at the water edge and avoid driving on sea weed patches, great vid

Tyre pressure at 18psi, low range third gear and plenty of right foot. If you want a hard sand track to try out try the curta rocks track in the port Lincoln national park.

    • @lilandjake
      @lilandjake  Год назад +2

Surprisingly we were at 14psi here! 😂 The caravan was just stuck a bit too far outside of the cars tracks and we had no hope with traction control kicking in!! We will definitely put that track on our list, we love a good 4wd track. Thanks for watching!👌🏽

How incredible, such a nice spot, somewhere we could see ourselves visiting again soon! But we didn’t have great weather when we were in Lincoln NP so we spend a few days in the Spalding Cove Bush Camp which was super sheltered!

      - Bunbury and the amazing dolphins!!
      - Karijini NP (that’s coming in a couple of weeks)!

All good I haven't been there in years either I'm living in WA but from south Australia will be planning a trip there and to port Lincoln, Whyalla etc to do some fishing the only thing I'm unsure of is if I'll try this sand in my AWD crv... It's lifted etc and done as much as I can without buying a 4*4.. too expensive for me at the moment I did email the national parks at coffins bay and they won't help if you get stuck so I'll think 🤔 but thank you for the response.
