Mint Condition had such a unique sound. When one of their songs came on the radio, you instantly knew who it was! Mint Condition and Tony! Toni! Toné! were two of my favorite groups because they had unique sounds and amazing talent!!

Make sure you check out the FULL length of this song. Stokely always goes off with the lead vocals. And yes, Mint Condition is a REAL band. They are awesome in concert. Back in 11', 12' my talent agency was able to book the lead models for their "Believe In Us" & "Walk Away" music videos. Great cats to work with. Stokely has released two solo albums over the last 4 years. Check those out as well.

That’s one of the big differences between the bands of the 90’s and back , opposed to “ most” of the bands today is that the first mentioned could actually sing, and they actually played instruments. Sadly this era relies on, drum machines and fake beats, but gratefully Silk Sonic gives us the Real Deal today.

Btw, I’d like to request a phenomenal black singer by the name of Karen White.
