Buy a Nose Frida. It's a weird looking suction tube that you put your mouth on and suck out the mucus and it comes with little filters to prevent mucus from going into your mouth. It's pretty simple and awesome
My one month currently has a mild cold as well, we’re all sick at home. Took baby to the doctor his lungs sound clear just a bit of mucus. He’s overall eating well and no fever. Doctor recommended saline flush also to keep a humidifier going. So far after one day with the humidifier I definitely noticed a difference when he breathes sounds a bit more clear than before
I have a two year old & almost one year old with a super bad cough & congestion & this brought my stress levels down extremely. Now I know I’m doing everything I can & I feel so much better
I had a similar thing going with my 1 week old . She had mucus that was causing a bit of discomfort while sleeping . It was blocking her nose and I could hear partially blocked phlegm. She wasn’t able to sleep . I tried what this doc recommended at the end . Gave her some tummy time and patted on her back mildly. There was a lot of relief by just doing that . Now I have her sleeping on her tummy on my chest . She seems to be breathing fine and the mucus seems to have unclogged . I will put her back to sleep now . Hope that helps anyone looking for answers here in the future
Thanks a lot dear the doctor said nothing to worry about and I tried the nasal saline spray , tummy time and patted her on her back now she seems relieved 😅 she’s doing fine
I am facing same problem with my 2weeks old son. I am using the tummy time therapy but one thing to ask will it completely clear the mucus. Coz whenever I let him sleep on his tummy every time mucus comes out. M feeling it's never ending.
I took my baby at two months because I heard gurgling sounds; to the ER. Ever since then they messed him up. Now he’s trached, was sedated daily and intubated. Spiraled into a neurological disorder and not he’s quadriplegic. I don’t trust anyone and I don’t feel like I heard how to get the mucus out of the lungs by listening to this. I’ll listen again to make sure.
@@jaradjones7141 Hi. Thank you for commenting. I’m sorry I just seen your message. For baby mucus if you don’t have a suctioner or tool to help suction the baby’s nose or airway; I usually cup my whole hand… and then pat/beat the baby’s back. For 15-20 minutes. This can help bring up the mucous or at least break it up and hopefully baby will cough it out. Also, if you have access to breathing treatments; you can do one of those to open up the lungs. Even if you don’t use actual medicine for the breathing treatment; you can use Saline. Or Saline bullets. I hope this works for you. I wonder how your baby is doing now?
Oh, my. Im so sorry. Our grandson always has bronchitis and been in the hospital 3x now. He needed forced oxygen and still couldn't get to 100%. Its truly scary dealing with hospitals. You never know who is competent or not.
I’m so releaved, my 2 yr old son cought cold last week and now with cough, but w/o fever, he moves normaly as before eating fine drinking more fluid now.. As a mom it just worries me everytime my kids are sick..
My method for making my babies stuck mucos is making him sneeze or vomit. Tickle the nose with a hair tips help baby sneeze and giving bitter herbs can help in vomiting that way a stuck plehgm comes out
I actually did not hear how to get the mucus out of the babies lungs. The only thing I heard you say was to do the percussions. Which is the cupping and gently tapping on the babies back and you didn’t go into detail. I do know how to do this but... aside from just that; you didn’t say much. Not about actually getting the mucus out because percussions don’t always work. I was listening for more of an actual answer or detailed answer and didn’t hear it at all.
Percussions are the only thing you can do being non invasive. It’s pretty simple but can take a long time to work so you should expect 15-30min of cupping on their back
@@MrBryan4you Exactly. And I’ve noticed that’s what a lot of professionals do. They talk in circles and expect the patient not to ask questions or just to roll with whatever they are saying.
11 month old. No fever, but cough, runny nose, and lots of phlegm. It’s to the point where he throws up 1-2 times per day, usually when first going to sleep, we suspect because his throat gets clogged. What should be done in this case?

First time mum, my 1 week old just recently started breathing like she's snoring or has mucus stuck inside her chest but she's sleeping fine and doesn't seem bothered by it but am worried bcz of that breathing sound what can I do?
My preemie baby girl has like chest congestion or wheezing sound on her chest, i took her to the er yesterday because she was breathing fast, they told me her oxigen is good and her lungs sound clear im so worry since like i say she is premature,
Honestly the best tip I could tell you is check their pulse ox ! You can take your regular pulse oximeter and put it on your baby’s big toe generally you want to be above 97-100 but always stay above 94 if their pulse ox is lower than 94 you take them straight to the drs otherwise they just recommended letting them ride it out and cough whatever they have out naturally.
@@Siina_h my baby is having difficulty breathing because of her cold and having her sleep tummy down on my chest helped instantly (typing this at night 😭)

Just take your baby in to see a dr anyway. When they are this small snoring isn’t very normal and may need medical attention.
