Wow that's a great song, I totally understand how you feel cos I feel elvis has always been there around me throughout my life, my mum was a huge fan, she loved him tremendously & she got me & my brothers into him, sadly i was 5 yrs old when elvis passed away, so I wish I knew him better while he was alive but I was too young, only 5, so anyway glad you shared this with us, I'm always trying to find songs dedicated to elvis that others have sung, this is one I'll add to my collection 😊

I think that he would have had to have consent from whoever owned the rights to the song and had to pay them for every time that he performed those songs live. The Colonel was a tight wad, so I am guessing that is why they were not sung live. This is Mrs. Ace X, in Florida.

He such an intrinsic and essential part of who I am as a human being. He continues to influence me every single day of my life and I am so proud to be an Elvis fan and so grateful for all he has brought to my life. As August 16 approaches every year, I’ll be honest, I really struggle and my heart breaks all over again and I’m right back on that day in 1977. Wow that's a great song, I totally understand how you feel cos I feel elvis has always been there around me throughout my life, my mum was a huge fan, she loved him tremendously & she got me & my brothers into him, sadly i was 5 yrs old when elvis passed away, so I wish I knew him better while he was alive but I was too young, only 5, so anyway glad you shared this with us, I'm always trying to find songs dedicated to elvis that others have sung, this is one I'll add to my collection 😊

I think that he would have had to have consent from whoever owned the rights to the song and had to pay them for every time that he performed those songs live. The Colonel was a tight wad, so I am guessing that is why they were not sung live. This is Mrs. Ace X, in Florida.
