One of my friends converted her basement into a free temporary living space for women in need because when she was needing a safe space to get away from her first husband, someone did the same for her. It’s so so sweet to give back in the same way you were blessed before!
Watching this for probably the third time and thinking how many people would make that a "she shed" or a shop for themselves and these people are thinking of others. Very special. Treasure in heaven for them and Ben and Erin.
Yes, it is. While I was taking care of my husband before or right after he passed, I could have used a day or two their had I lived close by. What a blessing they will be to people.
Way to go, both Ben and Erin needed to do a tiny. Let this Be a beginning. All y'all could do a village of tiny houses. Thanks Erin for screening in that porch.
It's all about GIVING, The host remember by Once, They were Struggling, Now they can Blessed someone that doesn't have a place to stay. What away to go, Erin and Ben Good Job 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🏡🏡🏡
Erin and Ben, It is amazing what you did with this tiny little house. I would’ve never believed you could get all of that extra square footage on a budget and attention you paid. The detail was truly awesome!! I really love the tongue and groove on the ceiling And the new ttrellis on the porch, and so much more. To the couple who bought this house for the purpose of giving a place of respice. What a selfless act… since I received cancer 12 years ago almost 13 years ago, there has been multiple times when I wished I could get away somewhere and have quiet in time with my faith and maybe my paintings but it’s very hard to find a place that people on Medicare particularly or financial issues when your medical bill is piling up higher and higher can afford something like that. I am so grateful for what you were doing for others and I am so grateful that you would think of something like that. I will be praying for your lovely little home, and everyone who visits there❣️❣️🙏 I will pray for God‘s blessing on it and you as well❣️. I wish there were more people like you too and I wish you great success in your new endeavors.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Not as pretty maybe, but a bunk would have served the need of a mom with a kid. Top bunk up higher than usual, to provide seating on bottom bunk, since they have the vaulted ceiling.
This is cute, love the ceiling. Would have done that bathroom differently. It uses too much room. Would have widened it slightly instead if a lot. Then just float the shower in the middle with the ability to draw the shower curtain around to protect other surfaces. A simple drain in the center of the floor instead of a dedicated makes more eense. Would have offered coat hooks instead of a closet in the main area.
Hi Erin n Ben ! You 2 are magicians! What a beautiful makeover. I love ❤ your wonderful family. I have 1 little comment I've always wanted to note since day 1 of your show. Ben, when Erin stands next to you, after you've been working hard (every show), n you lovingly put your arm around her, Her head comes right up to your armpit! And she doesn't flinch! Now, THAT'S love ❤️! Has that ever occurred to you? Thx 💙. Elly 🇨🇦
A beautiful result. So lovely. I think I would have turned the screen porch into a proper room. That space could be used as a kitchen, a bedroom, or whatever.
Provide a stove top, toaster, and coffee maker to help with cooking? Ones that could be stored underneath. Or even put an upper cabinet on that end wall for them?
It looks really cute, in almost every way, but I'm sorry... I think having a bathroom that is wider than the kitchen is silly... I don't know why you didn't forgo the closet in the bathroom, make the shower open toward the front, not the side, and pull the shower over closer to the sink a little more. Also, I think enclosing the porch with windows all around, and losing the double doors would have made it an actual extension to the kitchen.
Did anyone see a fridge in the kitchen? Or a stove top? I've watched the video a few times, but I need some help to see what all is in there. Was there a microwave? I thought I saw an oven and a dishwasher...?? I loved the little house! Ben and Erin'spired, as always!
it s very cute but instead of the closet in the bathroom, the shower could have been bigger...outherwise very sweet except the ceiling.... I would have wanted it to be skyblue instead of dark brown.
I didn’t care for the configuration. Poor space planning. I don’t understand the closet with a door that bumps into the bathroom door. The couch. Of course the finishing and special design touches are wonderful.
Cannot the porch be used as a bedroom? Or a bath? Place is just wasted for two seater dining. The Outdoor looked cute before as well, after looked neat. Not a fan of the dark ceiling though. Also if clients would have added a little more budget then possibly a loft/mezzanine area wit bed & closet would have been so ideal. But overall an alright transformation.
They’re using it as a place to help people in need to have a place to stay, not living in it themselves so why would they put a ton of money into it? I’m sure a person with no place to stay would just be happy to have a roof over their heads and not complain about not having a separate bedroom or a bigger bathroom 🙄

I really like how everyone gives to another person - to uplift people.

This is my favorite home. Wish Erin and Ben would build me one just like this one, same colors and all.
Thus us a wonderful gesture by thus couple, and Ben and Erin transformed it beautifully.

Hi sweet Peas, another wonderful place that you two made HOME!! Hugs!!
Those two can make anything better. Awesome!!!😊
I would have gone with a Murphy bed option and a small loveseat inside. The porch is stunning
I thought the same thing Iam surprised they didn’t
Not as pretty maybe, but a bunk would have served the need of a mom with a kid.
Top bunk up higher than usual, to provide seating on bottom bunk, since they have the vaulted ceiling.
Wow ! ,Wow ! Unbelievable how you two work! That was just beautiful !
I've been watching Tiny home episodes. They really need to start building tiny homes. This is amazing❤❤❤
Clever design. Great ceiling and beautiful finishes. Love the screen porch and kitchen.
Just perfect.
Gorgeous.
Its the tiny house concept......i love tiny houses.....i lived in paris so i know how being minimalist feels like.
250 square feet is the perfect size for many people. Lovely home

You all have just put a smile in our face. Thx and good job ! ❤
Absolutely gorgeous.❤

The arrow topped railing on the porch woulds give a little more privacy. It is lovely.
Yes it needs some privacy on lower railing for safety reasons & would keep cats & other creatures from climbing the screen.
Why do they always tear down the metal columns on the porch; I think they are gorgeous......
A beautiful result. So lovely. I think I would have turned the screen porch into a proper room. That space could be used as a kitchen, a bedroom, or whatever.
So well done. They still make Murphy Beds.
Wow 🤩 that was amazing!
So beautiful ❤
Vault ceiling, install bed loft with spiral staircase.
excellent!
Wow. I started to love this couple❤
So pretty… I would love to know the color paint you used on the walls. I’m getting ready to paint my tiny house. 🌸
You all amaze me every time!
Love this episode!😍😍😍
How nice. Well done
My favorite makeover it’s stunning ❤
Hmmmm I would have glassed in the porch for all-year use.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Fabulous
Well done
Great video lovely 😊

I totally agree with you. The space planning was off.
In SF Bay Area, contractor can charge you 40000 just to remodel a bathroom.😵💫
Awesome

Bottom left is a mini-fridge next to the microwave drawer in the middle
The glass-door fridge & microwave or oven @ 8:51 and quickly shown again @ 8:55... there's no dishwasher.
OK. Nice remodel. But does the Cute White Doggie approve . . . hmmm? Woof! 🐶💓
What color are the walls?
Tanto😊💕😊Aconchego💕🇧🇷💕
Cute
it s very cute but instead of the closet in the bathroom, the shower could have been bigger...outherwise very sweet except the ceiling.... I would have wanted it to be skyblue instead of dark brown.
I was thinking maybe it's where they keep a hot water heater, in that closet.
I didn’t care for the configuration. Poor space planning. I don’t understand the closet with a door that bumps into the bathroom door. The couch. Of course the finishing and special design touches are wonderful.
So now get rid of those horrible fences!
Why is he always groping her? She's not going to run away. Plus he's twice her size. 😂
GIFT
When people can't go out to the porch, where will they eat?
they could have extended the kitchen counter for small seating area
Maybe the table and chairs can be brought inside
I have a full kitchen with a table but I often eat on a TV tray in the living room.
@ 8:11 behind Ben is a table & 2 chairs for dining...it is shown so quickly.
Cannot the porch be used as a bedroom? Or a bath? Place is just wasted for two seater dining. The Outdoor looked cute before as well, after looked neat. Not a fan of the dark ceiling though.
