Thank you for sharing this. My dog is not old but she is limping on one leg. We've already stopped taking her to the dog park and started giving her a honey, turmeric w/pepper, collagen, slippery elm blend a few times a day. She is getting better but I think she could use a little more help. Will be implementing some of the strategies you mentioned here. Thanks.

Thank you so much for this! Our Catahoula Leopard Dog has been has a massive amount of allergies and we thought she was limping because of her paw itching (beginning of Nov)...my husband has worked in sports medicine and noticed she was limping due to her shoulder (beginning of December)...she is about to be 11yrs old and has never had her shoulder do this..(backstory: at 3 months old, she was rescued after being hit by a car and almost lost her back leg, but we fostered her and got her surgery, so she has had limping from her hip joints in the past)...and because of her allergies we need to aim for as natural as possible, without causing harm. Thank you for the possibilities🤞🏻
(She is currently on Meloxidyl for 2 weeks, after the Vets visit, she is limping a lot worse).
If you still check these comments, please let us know if you have any thoughts 🙏🏻

Dr Jones..thank you for the remedys for shoulder arthritis. My 12 yr old Chocolate Lab was from a Woodstock Illinois Shelter, and I adopted him at 9mths of age. He was found tied to a tree in a yard in January in Chicago.. The renters had skipped out on rent and left him in the freezing cold without food or water. With just snow and grass roots to eat, he was found by the landlord and taken to the shelter. I had been looking for a dog for 7 mths since the death of my little mixed terrier. When I heard if this poor dogs history, I asked he be taken out of the cage.. the shelter was closing soon. I looked at him in the dark, dingy floor- level cage and asked him "did they leave you behind?". He just lifted his gold- brown eyes to mine and placed his paw against the cold wires of the cage. "Yes". I asked the attendent to let him out and he put on the show of his life!. Running, leaping, chasing the ball. Yes, he was bone thin, but, being an ICU nurse, I saw life in him yet. On the way home with "Decker" in back seat of truck, I saw blood and drainage from his nose. A quick stop at a vet on the way home, confirmed my fear. He had severe bilateral pneumonia and a horrible sinus infection. He had been frozen to the ground, with restricted range of motion of hips and shoulders. The shelter offered to take him back, but given a 10% chance to live....they were not an option. He weighed only 50lbs.Taken HOME and on 5 antibiotics, brochodilators, pain meds, he was in bad shape. I would stay with him for hours, holding him in his new cage, feeding him by hand and hoped he could see the river at the end of the yard and forgive the evil in some humans hearts. He is now 105lbs of spoiled, intelligent, Lab. A gentle soul, he still slinks behind the shower curtain when voices are raised, even in fun and jest. The arthritis the vet warned us about has occured. And even steroid shots have no effect. Thank you for the home remedies...since his shoulders are very stiff and painful. He is taking Tramadol, Truprofen, and Gabapentin (recently). Also, Tumeric, Omega3, mix of chon.gluco.msm,hyaluronic acid liquid, and vitamins, and massage. He has a younger black Lab, a little 96lb buddy, and a pet cat. Thank you for the info on shoulder arthritis...will incorporate that into his regimen. Love those Labradors!

Thanks for this video Dr Jones! Our 3 year old Rottweiler has arthritis in his front right shoulder but the vet may think he has OCD in his shoulder. We are seeing a specialist tomorrow!

I really appreciate all the help. My dog may have this in her back legs but it's probably due to the accident that smashed her pancryous and I could not aford the surgery so it healed with a lump. Could it be?

Is curcumin safe to give as maintenance for dogs prone to forming urinary crystals? I've read some articles that talked about how curcumin may increase the levels of urinary oxalate.

Great video Dr. Jones, my dog is having that problem with her back right leg, could you please address the pressure points for the back legs? Would they be similar to the front legs?

Dr. Jones, how can I diagnose and treat a dislocated shoulder in my dog at home? Can it simply be popped back into place? If so, how is this done with minimal discomfort? Thank you!

I just ordered your ultimate formula. My 10 yr old Dachshund has cushings, has had pancreatitis and is on a low fat diet. Now our if nowhere he cant walk much on his left leg because of his hip. Vet has him on pain meds. X rays didn't show anything, isnt his acl and I can't afford an mri or ct. I'm hoping the formula will help him. It hurts seeing him just lie down 98% of the day.

Hello Dr, my dog is completely limping from her LT arm. My mom was giving her ibuprofen for 1 week. I told her to stop cause it damages her liver. I’m trying the acupressure and exercises but doesn’t seem to be helping much. She doesn’t want to step on her foot at all. She’s been like this almost a month and I’m very worried. I’m on my way to buy the supplement you advice. She’s a silky terrier 5lbs. What else do you recommend?
Really need your help and advise, blessings!

    Hi Dr Jones
    Hope you are well.
My 4 Year old Border Collie Lady has had loose cartilage removed from both her shoulders, as a result of me noticing slight intermittent limping. Like Jeanie she was favouring one leg.
The consultant advised that we have done all we can but should expect when Lady is older for her to hav3 arthritis . Lady is a typical Collie who is quite stoic, and just carries on and can really run and is very active,
However, I want to make her more comfortable. My vet does say she doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable, but I think she would be grateful for some help.
At the moment I am giving her Yumove, but as always I always rely on your advice.
Which treatment out of your suggestions should I use. I am mindful to use your one but if that is the case, where can I buy it ?...
    Many Thanks
    Hayley England 8 July 2020.

My friend's care dog is limping on his front leg, so she took him to the veterinary clinic. My friend was told his tendon was torn and it would cost six grand to do an operation on her care dog. She said, "No" and went home. She knows there is a natural way to heal her best buddy. She is already doing so many things to help him be healthy, including making him food from organic produce. Anyone with suggestions that will help this very special dog , would be appreciated. He has the sweetness of a Labrador and the stature of a rottie/Newfoundland cross. Loyal should be his middle name. I want him to be able to run and swim and chase a zillion balls again. Help!
