I just threw down the Double Dark granular a couple days ago and then it rained for the past 2 days. i'm expecting the dark green explosion within the next 2 weeks. My next application i'm going to try the liquid Microgreene plus Green effect and see which one works best for me. Hmmm i wonder what would happen if i put down the liquid and 24 hours later throw down the granular. Overkill?
yes that would be overkill and not needed. Also, if you did that and got a really green lawn, you wouldn't know which product produced that color. If you keep the separated by 4-5 weeks, then you can see how the lawn responds to each one separately.
Northern Iowa lawn here. I've applied everything this year according the the yard mastery app.. how would this differ from the Flagship I've already applied? Any pro or con?
Speaking of Iowa lawn, why am I getting Prodiamine suggested in the yard mastery app when prodiamine is restricted in this state?! Address is selected in app. This needs some work

@@doublea4760 you can get prodiamine in Iowa, just not ours. We are doing out best to get approval but it's very slow for some reason. As far as using Double Dark in place of Flagship, I say go for it! It's fun to switch it up and try different things. You may prefer the way your lawn reacts to one vs the other. The key is to apply macro fertilizer (Flagship, Double Dark or Stress Blend) every 4-5 weeks during the growing season.
