It indeed takes patience to draw but you WILL get there. Whoever you are reading this do not be discouraged by "I've been trying to draw for so long and still can't get what I want" keep trying! It depends on the person and how determined you really are with drawing. For me I've been drawing since I can remember(like around age 6), starting off with silly doodles and scribbles. In middle school I had the opportunity to join an art class but ignored it because I thought I didn't need to learn of art if I already knew how to draw, which was a bad decision on my part. In high school I decided to get in art class and realized there are so many techniques out there that can help you so much on what your trying to achieve and the fact that I met other great artists that also had great tips to share. It took me about 12 years to finally be able to take my own ideas and draw them but for some it doesn't take that long. So if you've made it this far into my comment please TRY YOUR BEST and create a masterpiece!! :D
I also forgot to mention that even after 12 years I'm still not at my best I know I still have lots to learn, you just got to keep going!! Hope I made someone feel better.

Art tala carte when I was smaller (im 11) I always wanted to draw and I did I didnt like how my drawings came out but people did like em so I kept drawing then one day I was waching a disney movie then I wanted to draw realistic animals...I knew I couldnt draw it the way I wanted it...so I went on youtube and found this video at age 10 and I did it a drew a perfect wolf and now when I look at my old drawings and my new drawings I can see that I improved alot all thanks to you so thank you

Awesome! As a 10 yr old I don’t find drawing too hard (but not too easy either). I managed to draw a rly good wolf from this vid and it encouraged me to draw more so now I’m getting good at it which is shocking cuz I’m more of a sporty person anyway thx for such a cool vid it helps a lot

Thanks, for keeping me busy. When I am bored, I just draw my heart out. And I tend to sleep late at night, drawing of course. Is my caffeine.
By the way, I'm just 11. So I'm actually a multi tasking, hobby, I dunno. I'm also a sort of computer geek. Also an athele and a drawer. I'm an introvert and extrovert.

Ive seen SSOOO much growth over the years.
I say im pretty good at drawing human heads and bodies..and sometimes ill look back at drawings from only 1 week ago and laugh at myself cause their so bad. but i know that watchi g tutorials, looki g at reference pictures,it helps.
so i wont give up.

Arte ala carte. I am so grateful for your videos. They help me improve everyday and i am starting to see quite an amount of progress from at least some of my oldest drawings. I have developed a progress strategy where I write what I learned from the piece. It helps me discern what I did well and what I can improve on and some general comments. Thank you Art Ala Carte for helping me draw more professionally.

im a reaaly young drawer i dont feel very confortouble saying my age but when i was about 6 i knew drawing was my skill.mEven though my drawings were bad they were amazing compared to my group age at my schools. I keep practicibg and you are an insperation to me. You help me when im screaming at myself wondering why cant i improve i watch a video of urs, draw it and keep drawing that every few days. I know how to draw wolfs cats and a bit of dogs. Idk why i forgot to sub!

This is one of the most encouraging drawing videos I have ever watched. It's like you knew exactly how I feel. I am trying to get better at drawing from my imagination, it's hard, but I have seen some incredible pieces on deviant art. I am really into the Anthro/Furry styled drawings; you video has helped me so much, God bless.

As a young artist who draws wolves a lot I understand the importance of getting motion into your drawing. I also learned that having patience is needed when working to get better. This video and your words are very helpful to me. It took me four years to get where I am in my work and I'm only 15. Albeit nothing of mine is perfect but I've seen improvement in my drawings. I don't have videos but I do have a deviantart account you could see. My Deviant ID is LexiesWolves. Mine name says it all, I'm a wolfaholic lol. Thank you for your encouraging words, you have no idea how many times I wanted to give up. Whenever I'm feeling down about my work I watch this and I feel better. :)

One thing I had a struggle with was the hind legs.
Really good. A lot easier to follow than most tutorials. And its nice to know u look after pictures becasue i do too! xD

For learning and practicing purposes, its fine. But If you use someone else's drawing and draw it just like they do, you can't claim it as your own original drawing. You can take inspiration from the drawing and create your own piece.

I tend to specialize in anything non-human/humanoid. My deviantart (AerodynamicDragon) is filled with the stuff I have created and will have so much more...
Believe it or not, I am way younger then most guess from some of those drawings, which improve over the simple time of a few months!

This was my first video that you made that i have seen and you really insipred me to not give up cause i tend to crumble up papers and see if i tossed in the trash. you know your comparason to video games for art its actually true(by the way i love it! Awesome i see it that way too!) As the more you draw you do get more expierenced, anything in life it will grow and blossom! Any mistakes you do can help you in the far future!
I tried using the circle thing and it works really well I made a wolf howling at the moon because I just watched your other video how to draw a wolf howling mine did not look like yours all the way because I tried doing to without looking at yours and I really like how it looks so thank you for telling me that :3

What I like to say if I make a mistake and can't fix it, is to just keep it because of j show the drawing to other people, there most likely not to notice it because they're just so fascinated by the drawing itself
I really enjoy watching you draw! You make it really easy. Currently im taking a drawing class for my major but one of our assignments is to make a hybrid animal. So one day we went to a local museum on campus and picked out some animals we really liked and just drew them. Spent 5 hours drawing animals and it was fun! So I decided to mix a wolf and an eagle and im having such a hard time making it work lol. But your wolf videos really helpful.
