You hit it with Jasmine. The TF rep said it has Jasmine sambac and it has an animalic note. That note comes through on my skin after about an hour and it made me have to have it. I love it. It has the same animalic note as Fleur de portifino.

Now I want to try the layering of both! ❤ I agree with the person who wishes there was a travel size. This year I’m being super careful with my budget! 💸 Doesn’t TF go on sale in the Sephora sale? Absolutely love everything about this frag except the price. I disagree with the other reviews that say it's just a plain and simple vanilla. The bitterness in the opening is almost animalic (borderline funky tbh), which I assume is why it's named vanilla sex. I've heard others call it playdoh-like, and I can see that comparison too. It doesn't last long before it dries down to a very very creamy vanilla, but I really like that part as it gives the fragrance a unique character and makes it not so linear. I sampled it last week during the Sephora sale and wish I had bought it then, but I just ordered it at full price because I can't wait until the spring sale- especially since I think this will be strictly a cold weather wear for me (I prefer freshies whenever it's warm). As for longevity, it's beastly. I sprayed it on my wrist while I was wearing my Apple Watch and I can still smell it on my watch band today whenever my hand is near my face- 7 days later!

I have grabbed this one already and it is just stunning! It must be hard to make a vanilla fragrance these days that has some point of difference but I think that they have done it. I have found longevity to be fantastic too and I showered twice and could still smell it on me 🤍😊
