FINRA Foundation Awards 2023 Ketchum Prize to Long-Time Financial Fraud Fighter Doug Shadel

The FINRA Investor Education Foundation (FINRA Foundation) today awarded Doug Shadel, Ph.D., the 2023 Ketchum Prize-its highest honor-in recognition of his outstanding service and research on protecting consumers, particularly vulnerable Americans.
The Ketchum Prize-honoring Richard G. Ketchum, the former chairman and CEO of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and a distinguished leader in the field of securities regulation-recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of individuals who have made demonstrable improvements to investor protection, financial capability or financial inclusion through research, education and public communications, while addressing the needs and circumstances of underserved audiences.
