I'm from Nova Scotia. My father played and sang in a country band. He taught me how to play guitar and I went on to have a fairly successful career touring over Canada and the US. Gene Watson was my father's favourite singer. He played these songs over and over during the 70's, 80s, and 90s. He's now 90 and dying slowly of Alzheimer's disease. I listen to these amazing songs to remember times when we'd play them together. God bless Gene Watson!
