Hi brother , i own a VW Polo 1.2 TDI in India , December 2011 bought , 165k kms driven with engine oil (VW Special D SAE 5w40, 505 00/505 01 spec VW approved). Car is driving like a dream with no problems at all. I jus want to know if i shift to Liqui Moly Toptec 4100 5w40 , 505 00/505 01 spec oil , would it increase the smoothness and performance of the car and decrease engine noise ? People say its not fully synthetic instead its a blend of normal oil and synthetic oil. But still increases smoothness , whats your opinion on this ?
2. Or Should i try Amsoil 5w40, 505 00/ 505 01 European spec oil with red cap bottle. They its fully synthetic made from group 4 oil.
3. Should i use Ceratec in my car engine ?
4. Should i use Liqui Moly hydraulic lifter additive?
5. Should i use Liqui Moly Engine Flush plus ? Hope it doesn't damage my engine seals or make the engine noisy ?
6. Do u recommend Liqui Moly Diesel Purge , if yes then how to use it for best results?
Yes,definitely it will increase smoothness and also you will get more acceleration in higher gears,but the difference will not be like day and night but it is noticeable,it will not mess your engine have a try once,also have a try once engine flush plus.

I don't think so 3,4 and 6 th options are that much essentials,if your car is in good condition
Engine flush may not be needed if you have been replacing oil as per VW recommendations. I have personally used it once after running for 1 lakh km and did not notice any difference. I have been using only VW approved oil as per OEM recommendations. Curious, how did you determine that Amsoil is only Group 4? From what I understand, all good synthetic oils are usually blends of Group3, 4 and 5. In Germany, only Group 4 and above can be called fully synthetic, but this does not apply for other countries. In all other countries, blend of Group 3 and above are called fully synthetic. Liqui Moly Toptec 4100 should be blend of Group3 and 4. Important thing here is it has VW 505 01 approval. Using additives is usually not recommended by OEMs. Ceratec is a solid additive. Using this should immediately improve the overall smoothness of the engine. But this may be temporary and may not be needed in the long run. However good fuel additives can be used. From what I understand, VW used to provide fuel additives in certain countries.
