@@johnbenedictkadakampallil823 Totally agree. I am a syrian christian. But Chavittu Nadakam is of latin christians. But now there is trend among knayayas to show off every thing that are common to syrians christians are theirs alone. There are many customes unique to knayayas like chantham charth and all. Say that. Nobody has any issues. And seeing the comments here shows how they blindly try to categorize any thing christian as theirs own with ignorance.

@@casinova461😊 Sir, there have been two waves of Christianity in India. First one is Orthodox Christianity that came to India in Ancient age with Syrian merchants and with time absorbed various elements of Malayali Hindu traditions.
😵Second wave of Christianity which were actually Roman Catholicism & Evangelicalism, came to India in modern period along with racist Britishers & Portuguese which had strong bias against Hinduism & Indic traditions. And till today, they possess the same attitude.

christianity of kerala is not foreign. it is rooted in the culture of kerala.

it is better not to speak about things you don't know
And indian culture is not just hindu culture
it is a collection of all the traditions followed by the populace of india ,wether hindu ,christian, muslim, sikh, budhist or atheist.
kathak is not only from the hindu cuture,it 's is a result of the assimilation of the sultanate(muslim)culture to the hindu culture.
and these art forms are not at all related to kathak, their roots are in the dravidian culture.

The oldest known purpose-built Christian church in the world is in Aqaba, Jordan. Built between 293 and 303, the building pre-dates the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem, Israel, and the Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem, West Bank, both of which were constructed in the late 320s.
