A big positive this year are the major contributions from true freshman. The goal is still getting to postseason with at least 6 wins and getting those extra practices for the young guys.
Jay Foreman you know there’s a big difference between Purdue’s offensive line and that of Illinois’ nonetheless great analysis. I agree with you. Nebraska has yet to put it all together by bringing the consistent energy needed in a game in all three phases offense, defense and special teams GBR
I’d love to be in the locker room at halftime to hear what coach Matt Rhule told the team. In the words of the late Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis “just win baby”.
Illinois proved against Penn State in Nittnay Valley that they are for real…. softens the pain somewhat to Husker Nation. Realistically, your Kool-Aid had to be spiked if you thought Nebraska was going to be 11-1 this year.
Still the best in depth analysis of Husker football. Thanks as always Jay and Steve!
Jay gives excellent perspective when looking at the film. He's the best iv seen so far. Props mate 🤘😎🤘

What would their performance grade be if you took the referees bad calls out of the equation? More touchdowns but still no field goals
Loosing to Illinois requires a complete win out to get to a significant bowl and ranking.

Illinois is not a bad loss. Depends what you consider significant I guess.
