Damp - How I fix internal damp

100% not, if anything it can deal with condensation, but that's about it. Rising damp can be a bitch to deal with tho.

Classic damp scam, no understanding of how the building was designed and the materials used to build it.

Looks like it's making a gap so the moisture can evaporate rather than travel up the wall🤷‍♂️

Aye I agree that's the idea, cant see it being any more use than a gap at the side of the flooring under the skirting. Rising damp is at most a symptom of whatever the actual issue is.

​@@trustmeizold Im sure its just a blanket term that means nothing. Doesn't exist in Europe! The Dutch laugh at our damp industry in the UK because it is nonsense. What we have is a self servicing industry selling all sorts of gadgets to fix a type of damp that only exists when they say it does.
