Now to be fair to Tamashii my understanding of the Demon Slayer breathing techniques is that the visuals are pretty much hallucinations so we can just pretend we see some effects. 😂

I might get that Tanjiro despite not knowing anything about demon slayer but I'll definitely have to watch that anime at some point. I also checked the price on Tanjiro it's about 4400 yen so roughly about 35 to 45ish bucks

I will be buying the Tanjiro and Nezuko , I agree with the lack of accessories. Thanfully there is a bootleg of figma that is very cheap so I bought it for the effects. There was a survey before regarding what is important for a figure, maybe only few select accessories since that is what is lacking with SH Figuarts.
didnt catch this survey but my #1 would be limbs not falling off, so maybe thats why they axed accessories bc thats never ultimately anyones #1. they mostly nitpick the figure itself
Tanjiro is going to be 4400 yen, meaning because it’s a low value figure, my guess is that it’s another build a figure type line. Like the one piece line has been. You have to buy certain characters in order to have face plates or accessories for Luffy. I’m sure we are going to get breathing effects and the box when more figures are made.
February 1st is gonna be a busy preorder day, Tanjiro, Nezuko and Kid. I'm sure it'll be easy. Lol.
The tanjiro is $35 and the nezuko will most likely be the same.
IMO these two are the best looking versions of the two in figure form.
Always felt like the figma didn’t capture tanjiro’s build quite right and buzzmod didn’t capture the faces that well either. This one seems like a good mix of both.
And front the looks of it the articulation seems better than those other two as well.
Being a whole $70 cheaper than the other two puts this one at a really good spot for being the best tanjiro figure.
It’s a shame about him not coming with enough effect pieces tho.
Yep but it's a budget release and something that can be accessible for demon slayer fans to collect..I pre-ordered him alongside the tamashi nations water effect pieces so I can pose him with his water breathing style but imo I would rather get an affordable figure that might have good quality..
Now nezuko should've had more and have a soft plastic piece for her outfit like yor's dress..because tamashi doesn't do softgoods all that often and I'm fine with softgoods but I prefer them as capes,jackets,and hoodies but I'm not someone who thinks soft goods are make or break but I can admit it does make a figure great if done well..
@@SmileJ-in3nt I think the quality will be good with these. But yeah it’s a shame about the nezuko. Honestly it shouldn’t be this hard to make her pose well. We have 3 nezuko figures and somehow they all fucked her up.💀 Buzzmod is the clear winner but it’s still not as good as it should be.
And yeah had they made her like yor or sasuke it would’ve been amazing. Sucks that wasn’t what we got judging from the promo pics.
Let’s just hope the nezuko comes out better than what we expect.
Tho I know that tanjiro ain’t gonna disappoint.

Hopefully they announce other hashiras and more demons..iirc i know buzzmod made Daki and akaza and figma made a terrible akaza but where's muzan..or other kizuki members..
Eustass images are giving me hope. The pants or knee bend looks very good. Definitely wondering how well he stands on his own. His shoulders also seem interesting. Like lots of range and made for dynamic poses. Praying his paint job is on point like the images 😊
Kinda sad to see Tanjiro and Nezuko don't even come with the box or even a tiny version of Nezuko. Can't wait for the Nami figure, though! Live action One Piece was great. Here's hoping for Usop and Sanji soon!

I am little bummed about no box, but I already pre ordered the blue wind effects for another figure. It's not gonna be that bad for me.
Tanjiro is a mass retail release, he was never going to have effects. I'm psyched cause that means ill be able to get him for $15.
As far as the accessories tho i could see them dropping a mini nezuko with zenitsu and the box with inosuke. Effects wise.. I imagine they'll just reissue the generic effect sets. It's so rare that we get an actual dedicated effects pack nowadays...
Yeah they definitely shouldn't have skipped on effects but I am glad they're giving us Demon Slayer figures in general - not to mention they're reasonably cheap options, which I appreciate as someone with a smaller collection. I hope later down the line we maybe get some sort of later season versions of Tanjiro and maybeee Nezuko? I could see maybe a Tanjiro without the jacket with battle damage or something and additional accessories being a thing but idk theres really no way of telling what they're planning for this line.
Something about the Kid figure I noticed is that I think all of his fingers are posable,which is really cool to see from sh figuarts.
Maybe shfiguarts comes out with more deer figs, and it comes with more Tondreau face plates
you probably already know this but tanjiro technically comes with the battle damage if you look at the grilling teeth face you will see a different scars its a mark he uses when he is near death and the effects are on a bundle its a shame he doesn't come with the box tho
Superboy looks mostly great though i agree the faces are a bit off. I hope this means we get doomsday and a classic or mid doomsday fight superman, mongol, matrix supergril (the only good one really), and hal jordan
