Jack Torrence was not a loving father prior to coming to the hotel. It is heavily implied that he's abused Danny in the past and they have a strained relationship already.
Actually, in The shining, Jack is a horrible father to begin with. Remember he fractured his son's arm in a rage and his son is afraid of him now... His wife is also a weakling who is terrified to go against him. He was always a monster
Just because you or her justifies it doesn’t mean it’s not evil. She kills people. That’s like what any school shooter could say. Justified resentments are the reason any person acts out.
@@FatNorthernBigot The Disney sequel trilogy sucks. I refuse to acknowledge it. The only ones that matter are the Original trilogy and the Prequel trilogy.

“Kylo Ren was definitely a bad dude.” That statement is true in more ways than one. He was very poorly written, not in the least bit intimidating, and an all around terrible villain. Now I have mad respect for Adam Driver, both as a person and as an actor. Ren’s flaws were in no way his fault. No, that falls on the writers and the other people responsible for creating one of the least likable villains in Star Wars. All that said, Kylo Ren was indeed a “BAD” dude.
Han and Leia never had a son named Ben. They had three children - twins named Jacen and Jana, and a younger son named Anakin, who, like the grandfather he was named after, was tempted by the Dark Side. Ben was *LUKE’S* son with the assassin Mara Jade.

Too bad don’t ship outside of UK.
Ozymandias wasn’t evil, just practical
Kylo doesn't turn evil. He flip flops more than a public beach
Haha-that’s very true. Glad someone else sees it.
😂😂 i agree he wasn't evil but the writers are for giving us that horrible, ridiculous ending

Absolutely! I just commented almost the same thing before reading yours

Carrie NEVER turns "evil" she just acts out after years of torment.
So murdering people in cold blood that did not torment her is a good thing?
Carrie isn't the villian of the story she's the victim
She let her rage consume her

@edwardmitchellrealty4327 This is true
I recently rewatched the Shining and honestly, Jack's turn to the dark side just isn't that slow.
That's because there is no change to the dark side. He was always a monster in the movie. In the books he is a loving father that turns into a monster
You forgot to mention Event Horizon (1997) where Sam Neill's character, Dr. Weir, turned evil and scary in the 3rd act of the film.
Could've been a list of 9 if you had D-16 on there
Jack was a loving husband in the shining before to the hotel? hmmmm no what the hell guys?
Also Stanley Kubrick basically tormented Shelly Duvall to the point of breaking her so she gave that “fantastic” performance you speak of.
why does your videos always end so abruptly?
Alexander recognizes Alex in A CLOCKWORK ORANGE
Saying a "villain turned evil" is like saying a candy became sweet, or a tree became wooden. It's rather absurd.
The problem with the Watchmen movie is pretty much Matthew Goode. You know he's the villain the whole time and he's way TF to skinny to be Ozy.
No Harvey Dent from the dark knight!
You missed Mark Zuckerberg in the social network
What's the pivotal scene though? The one where Garfield smashes the laptop?
Surely the title should say 'When Movie Heroes Turned To Villains?' :3
Watchman my villain
Whenever i say Lotts-O-Huggin Bear, I get blank looks

Ozymandius was a good man who did what he thought was right? I'm sure Hitler thought he was also a good man who did what he thought was right.
I only know of 2 movie versions of shinning, og movie and like early 2000's TV movie version

@ but in the movies it’s canon that Kylo is Han and Leia’s son, and his name is Ben Solo. You straight up said that isn’t true.
Weak list. Several characters nebulously not "evil" and/or their turns don't even occur in singular scenes.
Fine movie moments, misfit title and list.
Wait, wc is doing ad reads now? Ugh. Wack.
Kylo ren? Don't recommend channel
