That ideology has turned Islam and its followers into intellectual dwarfs resulting in the religions inability to assimilate into other societies they attempt to join. Islam can only exist peacefully when there is totalitarian control of a majority over the society - hence its violent conflicts with Western democracies.
In most technologically developed Western countries muslim immigrants are too poorly educated to easily get good jobs, and have intolerant attitudes to freedoms embraced by western societies. These intolerant beliefs are doctrinally promoted by religious islamic beliefs and cause many believers to fail to assimilate and eventually slide into confrontation with the "infidel". Al Ghazali told muslims that mathematics and science was the work of the Shaitan devil and should be avoided. The acceptance of this teaching has caused Islam to turn to violence to get ahead rather than science. Unfortunately the study of science has resulted in the West being able to be much more violent than Islam in any conflict.

What is required is a popular uprising, and I think we're finally seeing the makings of one. Moderate Muslims don't need to justify their actions. They need to rather condemn those who practice violence. It's never done. They try to justify their conversation to a moderate Muslim religion. Real Christians and Jews rather condemn violence way before offering a peaceful solution within their own beliefs.

There should be more of this kind of debate! It is healthy, constructive, fair and informative. It is the same format in which I was happy participant at school...finished in 1969. I know... I'm old! However, these days if I engage in ANY type of debate with any of my family members, I am immediately shut down!! WOKE gone mad!!! Thank the universe for Douglass Murray! I’m not so sure that radicals and extremists are in the minority, after all many Middle Eastern countries are governed by radicals and extremists. This doesn’t feel like a minority of the Muslim community, especially when many of these radicals and extremists take power rather than being democratically given that power.
Everywhere the jihadists go, they are a huge problem for the world! The leaders admit they want to take over the world and they are already trying to do it in Britain.
