@@e.t.1947 Have you ever watched the anime called Demon Slayer? Is pretty similar. Long ago, in a forest far beyond, there was a tribe of powerful youkai that lived on that land, but eventually a group of humans came to create a village on that place, making the forest their new home. As the humans cut down the forest to make the resources they needed for living, the Youkai began to feel their territory being tarnished, and began terrorizing the humans as revenge. It was said that anyone who dared to venture too deep inside the forest would never return as the youkai would take their lives and possess their bodies (that's how the human forms of the Mayakashi came to be). And so over time, the villagers came to fear the spirits of the forest. The spirits were named Mayakashi by the humans. Upon taking over the body of a human, they were granted 2 characteristics. During the day, they would stay as mere humans, with their powers weakened, but when the night fell their powers would be at full capacity, and they would rise to reign terror in the hearts of the foolish humans that dared to invade their land. Over time, the humans began to retaliate, trying to fight them during the day when they were weakened, but the Mayakashi were able to hide every time, so they concluded that to end the threat once and for all, they would need to fight them when the night fell and they revealed themselves at full power. A single human decided to face these demons. The founder of the Shiranui tribe. Using the spiritual energy of the forest infused on his weapon he swung his blade against the Mayakashi, and although he was capable of slaying many, he was eventually killed by Yoko. But even in defeat his will would continue as his body vanished in a blue flame (Shira nui), leaving behind his sword infused with the power of his soul. 100 years would pass of quiet war between the humans and the Mayakashi, that would be broken by a Samurai wielding the sword of the founder. With his immeasurable strength, he was able to summon the spirit of the founder from within his blade. The Samurai took on 3 of the most powerful Mayakashi, Yoko, Yuuki and Gashadoku. After merging with the spirit of the founder he became Sunsaga and managed to kill Gashadokuro the most powerful of them. Seeing how much strength the Samurai possessed, Yoko and Yuuki hid inside the village, staying amongst it's people. They would stay there, until their strength was restored and the Samurais hunting them would diminish. The Samurai did search for them, but he never found them again, eventually succumbing from old age passing down his teachings to his apprentice (Shiranui Squire). Throughout this time, Yoko who had been among the humans for a long time had began to soften her hatred towards them and even met a certain girl, who she then became friends with. The young girl had a kind heart and would always visit Yoko, perhaps she had felt her loneliness and wanted to make sure she didn’t felt that way. Yoko thought the same about the girl (yes it's squire). The two would become extremely close. When a Yokai experiences true love for a human, part of their power would imbue itself on that human as some form of protection. This surprised both and upon realizing who each other were, they were forced to fight. The battle was exhausting but in the end neither could deal the final blow as in their hearts, they couldn't truly hate each other, however it was on this moment where Yuuki, that observed from the sidelines appeared to steal the girl's power and take it to herself, shocking both. With the power of the Shiranui and the Mayakashi, she began her dream of creating an eternal night devoid of light. And this is how the story ends for now. Maybe in the future with new support we may find out how it ends.

I think Spirit Saga should also be on the deck, since its just one UR from a minibox (doesn't break the 2 miniboxes "rule") and it gives such a boost to the deck, since it can pop backrow, increase monsters attack and get rid of monsters that don't have destruction protection. It's also pretty easy to make with Tsuchigumo and Spectralsword.
Problem is the extra deck is super tight for this deck, i don't think there are any synchros you should cut in this case since they all play a pretty important role combo-wise
@@boi1595 If you take SamuraiSaga out of the extra deck you can put SpiritSaga without affecting the main combo, since you dont really need multiple copies of the Mayakashi Synchros.
mayakashi is probably one of the must fun deck out there. with the right setup your turn 3/4 play will most definitely destroy your opponent. the only thing that can make mayakashi to tiered deck is necroworld banshee and hajun.
Imagine there's soul absorbing bone-tower in this game. Mayakashi will revive mill playstyle but I think it would be broken since most of the deck in speed duel only contains 20 cards so it would be faster than doing this in master duel.
A few options, depending on what you have: - use any additional copies of the spells - the lvl 3 tuner (but then I'd suggest to also swap the lvl 10 Synchro for the lvl 7, so you can use one of the other limit 2 Shiranuis) - Shiranui Samurai (love this guy, he singlehandedly wins me games all the time) - Samurai Skull or Gozuki (generally better generic zombie support, but less "f2p", since they are from other boxes)
