You are describing me exactly😭 When the Holy Spirit encountered me in my bedroom late night July 31, 2021. Its the best day ever. I had a superntaural hunger to read bible. Instanstly lost interest for the world. Fascinated with Jesus to know Him.Give eveeything up for Him without even trying either. I could hear Him clearer and more frequently. The bible would come to life. He answered some questions so quick. Comforts me 😭 Revealed attacks from the enemy by audibly telling me once and by dreams . Omgosh I have so many other things I could share!!

This looks a exactly what I want and have been praying for. Why do I feel so left out? I cry my eyes out to have this and I beg the Lord to do this in my life. All I want is to be filled with His Spirit. Please pray for me

This is a gift for everyone. Following God’s word is the most humble thing you can do, if you haven’t already repent and been baptized in Jesus name that would be the first thing I would do.
Acts 2:38-39 (NKJV)
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
Amén 🙏🏼 the fact that you want this already shows that if you continue seeking it YOU WILL find it 💛🤍 I recently had my own testimony where the Holy Spirit filled my entire being and I died. I’m not the same anymore. I was so broken over everything I been through. God sooke to me about exactly what I was thinking and feeling. He found me, because I was looking for him. @@delafetestimonies almost all that you said I experienced when I submitted my life to Jesus Christ but I cannot pin point a baptism of the Holy Spirit taking place in my life. I yearn for that because the foretaste lasted just about three months and I have been very grieved for the last 29 years I feel so lost and dead on the inside trying hard to please him from his word and doing what I think he wants be to do never really sure it is until I see the result. How were you baptize what did you do or say?

God will not withhold the Holy Spirit from those who desire Him! However, there can be some blocks that get in the way. For some (like me) there is an intellectual block, where they don't actually believe God will do it. For others, they want the Holy Spirit but are not willing to surrender to Him. Some people are harboring unforgiveness and bitterness towards those who have hurt them and are not willing to surrender it to the Lord. Surrender is key! When I was baptized in the Spirit, I was fully surrendered! I wanted the Holy Spirit at any cost. I asked God to baptize me in the Holy Spirit. I also had a friend who was baptized in the spirit who laid hands on me and prayed for me to be baptized in the spirit. This is sometimes necessary - it was for me. Trust that God will not withhold His Spirit from you! He will empower you to live for Him!

@@deianncunningham9935 I was filled with the Holy Spirit while I was an atheist in the middle of a suicide attempt. His presence stayed with me for about 3 months. I didn't ask for it and I wasn't looking for it. It has been 27 years ago. I want it back. The only thing that I know to do is live a clean life and do the next right thing. I don't think there's anything that we can do to be born again, I believe that's up to God. I know that I don't deserve it because he told me that while I was filled with his presence. I never understood why he told me that until lately. I'm a wretched sinner, and he is more Holy and precious than I could possibly imagine. Live with a clean conscious by doing your best not to sin. Live a clean life and get rid of that "thing" that's keeping you separated from him. For me it has been drinking, drugs, and a lot of women. I've been with only one women in six years, been married for 2 years, haven't had a drop of alcohol for over 5 years, and am just now getting off opiates. Those were my "things" and they're just about gone. Get rid of yours whatever they are and he might come back.

Not new info but earnestly pray for the spirit to fill your life, and seek God with all of your heart in faith. It's not easy necessarily but it is simple.
Hallelujah!!!! After hearing this I realize I was baptized by the Holy Spirit on 4/21/24. What a remarkable experience I had that day that I am still in awe of. I marvel every day that He would want ME & seek ME out & fill me with His Spirit. I was baptized in water in 1997 but never felt THIS. Thank you Lord

How do you get baptized in the spirit?

When i recieved the Holy Spirit i was in a prayer room with two other beloevers who had recieved praying for me. I was praying fervently for the Lord to fill me with His presence( Holy Spirit).
The pastor came back there and said," Brother Bob, stand up lift your hands and recieve the Holy Spirit.
I stood up, with my eyes still closed, and saw a window appear to my upper right side. It had what looked like those old fashioned shutters on the outside ends and they were wide open.
I looked in the window and saw a beautiful blue sky. Then a bright light appeared at right hand inside corner of the picture and started to move across my field of vision until it reached the center. Then it stopped and shined on me.
Suddenly i felt a warmth starting at my ankles and moving up my body. I felt like my body was being filled with a warm liquid. As the filling approached the top of my head and i was thanking the Lord for answering my prayer i heard the pastor telling me to surrender my tongue to the Holy Spirit.
I stopped thanking the Lord, opened my mouth and relaxed my tongue as a way if surrendering it to the Lord. Suddenly i felt the Spirit seize control if it and i began speaking in tongues. The joy i felt was staggering.. Never had i felt such joy in my life.i had recieved the Holy Spirit.
Have you been immersed in water (baptized)? Water baptism is a deliverance from sin, an emptying of ourselves, but holy spirit baptism is about filling up and empowering.
Then keep seeking. Trust God's love and that he wants this for you. Stay in faith, don't let your not being filled be louder in your mind. When we trust experiences and feelings more than his word it can become a barrier. We walk by faith (trusting God), not by sight (what we can sense at all really).
Ask God to reveal to you if there is anything preventing his filling you and be willing to deal with it whatever it is.

I don't understand this filled with the Spirit thing.
I know I'm sealed with the Spirit because I believe and have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I was on fire for the Lord. I wanted to scream it from the rooftop. After about a year after, i have a relationship with Jesus and it's growing. I know we are in the end of days and Jesus is coming back. It's amazing watching the Bible play out in real life.
But I don't understand what you're talking about. Do you keep asking to be filled with the Spirit, he's already in you. Sealed til the day of redemption.
When I tell you I'm up at 4:00 a.m. kicking in this bed...like this is meeee. I'm sooooo dry. I've been asking for years. Like what's wrong with me??? Why am I not getting it. OMG. I don't know what to do. Like I'm walking blindly around. But He is telling others about me. Tell meee! I want a relationship
