- Sorry I didn't get any thumbnails which had David in them :-(
Many moons ago I transferred a whole bunch of VHS on to disc. I thought that since this is a music based channel and that stuff was just languishing there, I thought I would put that footage on this one.
I do have a second channel in which I vlog, do "react" type things, some paranormal things (though not OTT) and stuff like that. It's all light hearted. The link is: / @thebigorangecouch6261 - Видеоклипы
David Cassidy was always well-spoken. The dude was not an air-head.
David Cassidy, looking great in 2002, touring all of Australia, with his characteristic charm and wit, and gratitude for his devoted fans from 27 years ago, when toured there! Sad that 15 years later, we mourn DC's passing thanks for his contributions in music and cultural impact♡
Wowee! What a great interview! DC is so intelligent and outspoken, yet keeps it on an engaging & professional level. So gorgeous, multi-talented & a great artist & singer!! Thanks so much for sharing! Really enjoyed this!! 💋
I feel like the younger generation did not appreciate him the way we did. I get the feeling those girls were embarrassed for him, just the way a few of them looked at him. . I think that one girl rolled her eyes. They didn't have a clue.
Yeah, they were born too late. We can't blame them, not their fault. Lol But David still melts our hearts. 💖💕💖💕💖💕💖💕💖💕
I was born in 1968, which makes me a Generation Xer, and I love David Cassidy! I may have missed out on Cassidymania, due to my very young age at the time, but I saw Partridge Family reruns when I was a little girl. That's how I became a fan. I also saw it when Nick At Nite showed reruns of it in 1993. I'm 54 now, and still a huge fan to this day. Better late than never, right? You don't have to be a Baby Boomer to love David Cassidy. We Generation Xers love him too!
Yeah I noticed the woman at 0:05 who seemed to give him a sarcastic kiss gesture. Ironically though, 25 years before his performance on this show he could not go anywhere in public without being chased down by young women who wanted to tear his clothes off. I can't say I'm a die hard Cassidy fan, though I very much respect him, I did enjoy the Partridge Family tv show because it represented an easier, happier, more campier time in America. My sisters were crazy for him. But unless one lived in a time when The Partridge Family was a prime-time show (early 1970's USA) most of the younger generation, typically female, looked at him as if he was something that fell out of a tree. Especially since each generation has a different taste in music for their era, they, understandably, didn't get Cassidy. I think it was good that he had a regular gig in Vegas, where his built-in audience of his generation could go and hear his music. Only when he was pulled out of that context and asked to perform for a current-day venue (like this "Footy" show) did he get strange looks.
I saw DC in 2002 and he looked and sounded fantastic ❤️
Still adorable, how funny that he’s on the footy show? My first concert was David Cassidy when I was 11.
Especially that awkward reference to rugby... You could feel the atmosphere in the room change. I felt a bit sorry for him there.
Yes but he’s able to make fun of himself which is an Aussie trait too.
Very good point :-)
What is the big deal with rugby?
They're two different sports and neither likes being mistaken for the other.
Gorgeous as always. Great entertainer and speaker. Always on cue. Beautiful man
makes a change to have someone who can actually interview without all the innuendos' (like Rove) this was much more enjoyable good to see him relaxed and enjoying himself......i wonder what happened to those girls who got to meet him when he first visited in '74?
Beautiful David. Love his smile X X
Wow. David still looks gorgeous I love his laugh beautiful man. X X
Great laugh!
yes - great smile - lovely warm eyes that can melt a girl - just awesome!
David's laugh was one of the best things about him. Along with his radiant smile, his sexy, sparkling eyes, his hair, his voice, (whether he was talking or singing), and everything! He was so sexy and adorable!
I KNOW I Love him!! 😍😙😍😙😍😙😍😙😍😙
Love it...thx!!
Glad you enjoyed it :-D Love your channel, too.
DC fantastic
Ahh yes-The Footy Show. Amazing as it may seem, this late-night wasteland managed to outlive David Cassidy, being cancelled in May of 2019 after 25 years on the air and 736 editions. R.I.P- David Cassidy. Rest in pieces-Footy Show.
At one stage he was more popular than the Beatles and Elvis combined.
that was only 15 years ago. He went down hill so quickly
ruth Hanckel yes, it's tragic how Ill he became.
Yes. It just doesn't seem that 15 years alone could have been what aged and deteriorated him so intensely
Too sad 😔
How he never got sick of singing that song for decades is beyond me. However, it was his bread and butter. It is sad he was swindled as a young guy. I think he sued decades later, not sure he won.
🎶☝🏻😏💞
David recorded so many excellent songs in his catalog but sadly was very under appreciated as an artist. His RCA stuff is very good. He even shone on some Partridge Family classics
Very nice interview except when they came to the question of Laurie. He managed to get out of that one, however.
He was a gentlemen...unlike the Neanderthals that asked the question.
Yeah, you could trust the Foot Show to go down that tacky route, though, and, typically, they did... But he got out of that one well, like you said.
the truth is out lol
Eddie Macguire - what an imbecile dirt bag & tacky low-life; and Sam Newman is a bogan, knuckle-dragger - they didn't even understand how big and a talented star they were dealing with. David...what a class act!
💖💖💖 this video
💖💖💖💖this video
How old was he here
Diane Belaski ..... 52 y.o. He looked great.
Class versus stupidity or bogans, as we say in Oz.
Just found this and I obviously dont know this show as i am an American. However, I think the host is VERY RUDE CRUDE & NOT to intelligent!!! A REAL GENTLEMAN NEVER EVER says things like, “Did you get a crack at her?!”, what the heck??? So very RUDE& CRUDE to talk about a women like that!!! You Sir, are not funny at all and your Mother should have taught you better or did and you just didnt take it!!
It's okay. Many of us here in Australia think the same thing. I only video-ed this because of David being on it. Otherwise I give this show a wide berth.
