Loved this War of the Roses! Had a suggestion for when they actually pass the test and you guys tell them to go buy the flowers because your not sending them: "OK, now go do your best Miley Cyrus impression because we don't actually send the flowers." I am easily amused. Lol
This is just bad advice. Regardless if he sent you the flowers, he has strung you along for eight years! I would demand one final explanation of why he hasn't proposed and then I would leave him entirely.
Oh, it's not "settling down" unless there's a marriage. No, it's got to be the legal route, a contract, band a business arrangement, or just not love. Is it? Doesn't that sound dumb? If he's with you, he's with you. If he's not then you don't have to go thru the "up to 70% of marriages end in divorce" part of it. You can just split, and that's that. Be happy you've had a good guy. Keep pressuring him out of some familial influence or religious obligation and you might just find, he'll be outta there. If you're living together, what do you think us going up change?? The legal, and immoral, right to half his stuff? If you love him, let it be.
8 years of dating but how old are they? She doesn't sound like she's 21 but he just might not be ready to legally lock it down... or, if they're living together, he might not see the point.
Why are the they so focused on getting married??? I would rather use that money and make it useful…getting married is no longer advantageous…in the old days, you had perks for being married, tax breaks, lower car insurance, etc…but NOW, nothing!!! All you get is wasted money on a wedding and a piece of paper… this doesn’t mean you are more willing to make it work if the marriage starts to crumble…my mom was married to my dad, but they got divorced after 32 years…they had just grown apart, they are still good friends bc of me and other things bc they are good friends…my mom met my stepdad like 20+ years ago and they never got married…no particular reason, just haven’t gotten to it…are they less committed bc they aren’t married, NOPE Now, if you want to get married, I’m not saying don’t, but unless it’s for religious reasons, no problem…or if you were raise to that end, again, no problems… Just make sure your partner is on same page as you
It sounds like you're already married. That's how it is. Boring. He won't tell you stuff - no one wants to have sex. Stay single - it's better in every way.
why are so many “strong” women too scared to propose? why does it always have to be the man? you would rather throw away a relationship than make the move to what you want. to hell with tradition. if you wanna get married then ask.
Give me a break. There are more people than you think that don't believe in your mythical Sky daddy. We don't need him to tell us how to be good people. That's what it's supposed to be about. And I noticed you didn't say anything about men, which makes you just another hypocritical Christian.
We need an update at some point.
So he’s distant, doesn’t make her feel like she’s his one and only AND doesn’t want to have sex with her… but he might be proposing… ok I guess 🤷🏾♀️
I know. It doesn't make sense

I want to feel pursued and wanted by my man. I would make it clear that I’m ready to marry him but its up to him to propose
why pay for for what he can get for free.....she should have waited for marraige....why are woman surprised....😂
There shouldn't be any intimacy in terms of sex if the wedding hasn't taken place yet. God designed sex to be saved for marriage. 💑
