    What do you do about all that mud that is coming out with the crushed material?

      Thats not mud that concrete mortar ,dust etc ,donrt ever put mud in it!

      Ah right, fair enough. We normally screen/riddle what we crush first. Would have thought that would turn to muck when it gets wet with all those fines in it

      @@lewisclarke1850 Yes agreed has to be when its all dry flys through but as its mortar and fines etc it mixes in with the hardcore great anyway even when wet and of course as its mortar ,sand etc its dries very quick unlike and dirt would, thank you for your interest Lewis.

      I just rented this machine in the video shown, what we did is we have an Excavator with somewhat of a sifter bucket
      (holes in it so the dirt goes thru) and we just give it a couple shakes then put it in and you don't have to worry about it
      being mixed

    How often are you having to change the jaw plates on this machine? I’m looking into buying the same crusher and screen you have for concrete recycling

      Approx once a year but we crush 5 days a week all day long,we have also used a hard weld and built up ridges ourselves with weld but sometimes these 5000s can crush just aswell with worn plates and maybe even faster, but with worn ridges at the bottom of the plates you dont get the real small 25mm down crushed but hey if your making 25mm down then you need to be selling that at big money as most firms crushed small is 100 mm down ! But if your buying a screener aswell then do what we do and put the uncrushed through the screener first so you will get from the side and rear belts concrete that wont need crushing and can go straight into your small crushed bay ready for sale and you will then only need to crush the rocks of the front belt so saving time and money straight away! With both screener & crusher working together you will soon get very cute at it all and ( should) make bloody good money £££s - Crack on and in a few months time you will say " What the fuck didnt i do this years ago " Fact !
      If you need to talk no problem at all ( working hours). Dick Searle

      @@diggershave3 So you get 2000 hours on a plate lets say, how much are the plates new? How long does it take to reinstall or flip the plates?

    After crushing would you put it through the screener

    • @diggershave3
      @diggershave3  4 года назад +1

      No but on the odd occasion a customer might want it clean with no dust then we would screen it.

      Ok thanks just asking as I’m looking at starting doing this myself but hiring out the machines with operator

      Oh yes I would only hire out with operator for crushers and screeners and probably nearly all my plant when I get going
