Hello mate, quick question form me again, do you push the seat all the way forward in those rental karts (here or in Roskilde) in order to maximize front grip? I heard many do it (at least in Racehall). I’m more comfortable with the seat backwards, but I get crazy understeering. Thanks in advance!
The quick answer is yes, I do, (In Roskilde the seat can’t be adjusted). I do it for 2 reasons. #1 I’m a pretty short guy at 166 cm, and need it to actually reach the pedals. #2 because of the balance in the kart. When the weight gets forward, it gets easier to rotate the kart, and in turn helps with the understeer you mention. I would suggest to try and move the seat forward a bit, cause you still need to be somewhat comfortable, but it should handle better then.
