    Nice size coil, similar to the new lg30 I just strapped on recently. Just have to swing a little bit slower I'm thinking Jason for these bigger coils, both of us that is. cool hunt good finds, enjoyed your video as always. best of luck on the next run. ATB Scott DDUK

      thank Scott. 🙂👍. yeh bigger coils require a slower swing speed which is good overall. we won't miss much and we won't tire our arm out lol 👍

    👍🏻 Merci pour cette vidéo ! En terme de profondeur c'est mieux que le disque standard de l'équinox ?

    i bought the 15"coiltek and used it for over a year and I'm not convinced its any better than the minelab 15" coil, in fact, I switched back to the minelab coil, and on the next 2 trips I had 2 hammys, and my 2nd bronze age axe. but look forward to your vid.

      hi bootie. I didn't think it was that heavy to be honest. plus it helps me slow my swing down. I'm just glad I've got land that a big coil can be used on without lots of iron grunts in your ear. the Legend has had too any updates for my liking. but I guess each update helps improve the machine the next time. maybe they should have finished the thing before they put it on the market lol.
      thanks for watching 🙂👍

    cracking video as allways, what pin pointer you using?

    • @TheDarkKnightDetectorist
      @TheDarkKnightDetectorist  Год назад

      hi Andy. thanks for watching 👍. the pointer I use is the nokta pointer. nothing too complicated about them and they are waterproof. they run on 9v batteries so I always have a spare in my bag just in case they go flat. also if you forget to turn them off, it will bleep after a few mins to remind you or so you can locate it if you forget to pick it up lol 👍

    Would you say the separation on this is better too? Ive got the 18" byt can pick up multiple scattered targets at once so thought this might be better?

      a narrow searcher coil will always be better than a wider coil because of its separation. I found this one better than the minelab 15" as well.
      how much depth you lose compared to the 18" I don't know. my thoughts are the larger coils only give you marginal extra depth for the extra coverage.
      I plan to do a review of depth using the 6", stock 11", coiltek 10x5 and the 14x9 👍
