When my brother was dying of lung and bone cancer, this song was almost like an anthem for me. I was initially VERY afraid to help care for my dying younger brother, John. But, in prayer, I kept feeling like I was being asked to do what I feared most, which was to walk in the “Valley of Death” with him. I said yes to God’s Will and he replaced my fear with a joy I had never even thought possible!! I honestly never experienced joy like that ever in my life!! This song was what kept me saying, “Yes!”

We just lost lost my husband's brother May 10, 2024 to a 4 month battle with cancer. I wrote all the Lyrics to this down for him and played it for him at the hospital. His Faith in God was so strong. We kept praying for a miracle, he is healed in Heaven. He was only 55 ❤😢

This song touched me when I went through a breast cancer scare. Went through radiation treatments, and am good now. " Even if you don't ..." got me through the next few months. He can, and he will if it's His will.
My husband suffered from COPD and every morning he listened to this song. He passed away in July of 2019 and every time I hear this song I remember sitting in the room with him while we listened to this song.
This was one of my son Christopher Dale Smith favorite song,but he is with Jesus now!he also loved I can only imagine by mercyme, his 2 favorite was sung at his burial service,he is home now!! Praise God!! Glory!! To god! Thank you Jesus !Jesus!!!!

Got into a church and it turned out I heard that I was not wanted there in the first place because of my past and it was a church that said come as you are we love you. SO I left but that WILL NOT stop me from believing.
