Full news conference: Philadelphia mayor and police mourns the death of Officer Jaime Roman

Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle L. Parker and Police Commissioner Kevin J. Bethel held a news conference on Wednesday to discuss the line-of-duty death of Police Officer Jaime Roman. The six-year veteran of the force was shot while conducting a motor vehicle investigation in Kensington on Saturday, July 22, 2024. Roman died from his injuries on Tuesday night.
