@@JonAdamich No it was shot on tape, but super high quality broadcast tape (I think digital broadcast tape started in the mid 90's and the bit rates even in standard definition eclipsed that of UHD disks produced today).

Just theories. He is also promoting his NEW show while on these appearances, so that could be why he is getting to do it now. But it's sad because I feel late night shows in general could have helped the show much earlier on with appearances.

back in 95 it was all actual film, not digital. I'm sure it just doesn't exist anymore. Hell, old feature films are lost.
