In the original Broadway production, the enchantress turns the prince into the Beast by throwing a Fireball from 30 feet in the air and loud pyro effects explode.

I kind of like the idea of the puppet as the enchantress. It gave it a more fairy tale book kind of opening. And that mirror shines bright like a diamond, lol.

I liked how this version used old and new elements in the production. The set, more like a pop book.

I prefer the prince being seen sitting behind a chair (his hands are still human) being groomed by Plumette, Lumiére, and the others (who are putting on his paws unseen from the audience)
