1: Sexton arguably the best Ireland has had.

Being fair, Sexton didn't respect the whistle at the end of a game and even sprayed refs after the whistle. Great player, but he let himself down at times with his behaviour, and this is why many people will find little sympathy. If he had been more like Richie M, Wilkinson, or even O'Driscoll, he would be remembered by many more as a great. All super competitive but never found the need to be bratish.

    • @Fletcher806

Man, has it come around that quickly? Where has the time gone. Almost a year to the day, the Irish players were packing their bags two weeks prior to the RWC finishing and getting ready to go home and start pre-season training for their club sides, their fans trying to scalp their semi and finals tickets, and of course Johnny "My $@"' Don't Stink" Sexton getting triggered by Reiko Ioane. It's almost Deja Vu without the tournament. All I want to say is, thank you Lord Jesus for Reiko.
Old mate in the middle didn't look to impressed when a comment was getting ready out. It's hilarious how hes trying to paint Reiko as a coward, yet doesn't say word when his mate Johnny slags Ioane off in his book. He may have a bias, but he's also not very bright. At least the other two can understand it and see the funny side. In the end it was a nothing comment that's now become the main talking point of Sexton's book and career. Talk about a petulant child and living rent free in someone's head. I hope Reiko never reply's or addresses that issues. He doesn't need too. But if he does, it won't matter, he's won this pis*ing contest either way. Sexton actually mentions the Reiko incident in his book FFS.

I don’t condone what Reiko said but all is fair in love and war, it happened in the heat of the moment, the ABs won. Move on. James Tracy needs to be pretty careful as well. He came out the eve of the QF effectively saying Ireland would smash the ABs and he hasn’t (to my knowledge) swallowed that rat and eaten humble pie.
