Finally I’ve found the time to catch up on this series and wow mate. What an epic trip it has been so far. Can’t wait to see the rest. Loving that drone work too.
Spectacular episode Pete, loving this series, really makes the week worthwhile. In Summer I am sure that Python pool is more piss and beer than actual water. It is such a refreshing place, the water is nearly always cool and refreshing. You will 100% be back, your drone footage is getting better all the time. Keep up the awesome work.
Masterpiece Pete. Really top shelf. That drone shot through the gorge after the swim was epic - I thought Luke Skywalker was about to blow up the death star mate. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Grew up in the NT, lived in Arnhemland and around the Katherine, Elsey and Daly River systems. Give me a croc any day as opposed to sharks. I am butt puckered terrified of sharks. Another great vid and can’t wait for my shirt. The colours are “Vivid”..
Good Vid Pete. That beach is only a couple of K’s from our house. After 28years up here still loving the Pilbara. My kids learnt to drive on that beach track. Some great camping memories out there. Cheers mate.
Fuc..n awesome video buddy, stunning scenery, I’ve never had an inclination to go up there but seeing that video mate I’m wanting to actually go, great to go with mates and share with them, great video brother ❤
Python Pool is just scratching the surface of what is really up there. Go back over and over again and you will find places that are mind numbingly beautiful. I envy you because you have all that ahead of you and there is nothing that compares to seeing that stuff for the very first time.
Bloody brilliant Pete. That drone footage up the Gorge was next level mate. I have been up to the Pilbara. I did swim in a waterhole like that but I think it was a different one. Too long ago to remember. The drone footage when you were driving along just showed what a beautiful country we live in mate. Totally different to my part of the country but equally as beautiful in its own way. Well done on the footage. Looking forward to catching up with you in a couple of weeks when I get over West.
Wow man that was awesome, another 10/10 vid , your so lucky you have such great like minded mates unfortunately I don’t have that, keep up the great work love your channel 👍🍻
Everything has changed with the tides up north. Places that were once favourite campsites and only went under water once or twice a year now go under for several days a month. As far as crocs are concerned, be croc aware just about anywhere from Exmouth north. They move along the coast a bit further every year as the numbers build up. The authorities need to change their ideas on culling I think. Good to see Pyramid Hill, we always used to call it nipple hill for obvious reasons :) First time we went down that road was in a very old 2wd Holden Barina, thankfully the road had been graded or we might not have got to Millstream and back.
I thought for sure you were going to have to do that hike again and find that you were going to need to lay down some cash for another drone😂😅😅 That was some top gun shit there, Pete! Cheers 🎉🎉
@WACampingAdventures thanks for watching mate. I tried to turn it into an audio podcast, but need to pay for an RSS feed. Being we give all our money away I just couldn't justify it 😂😂 Unless you know a free way?
@ not a bad thing giving it away to charities mate. So im with you all the way. If we are in the same state a poddy would be cool if ya wanted to come on mine! Unfortunately im such a bloody novice at this stuff i only know the paid option.
Mate I lived there for 30 years, your drone footage does the place justice. I hope you get to camp at the George River Junction. That place is great. It personifies the Pilbara.
@@discoveringwa2204 i reckon you have nailed it with the george river see if you recognise in the next episode whether we are talking about the same spot haha Also cannot take credit for the awesome drone footage that is from the legend kipp with the big beard.
Ahh so good to see your excitement Pete and fair enough doesn’t get better than a pool like that! What am awesome time 👍
