- This was an epic day, been having tons of request for another group ride but its been difficult to plan with the rains recently and kept closing the park. Luckily the rain didnt come until that night and we got to Takeover Aliso. I was stoked to see over 40 riders show up. Thanks everyone who showed up, especially the few that stayed until the end. Thanks SSB MTB for the samples and Pedalxtreme for the pedals that I gave away.
My main goals for doing these group rides is to meet and ride with riders who dig the channel and for the riders who show up and get to meet other riders. I know alot of people exchanged numbers and now ride together from the first meet up and hopefully more riders did the same on this ride. I have meet all the guys I ride with on the trails and one of the best things about riding for me is all the fun I have with my boys.
As some of you know I took my family and some of my kitchen staff to Vegas for Christmas. I did most of this edit while everyone ate breakfast and dinner since I only eat one meal a day. I stayed up pretty late on Christmas Eve while everyone slept to get this video done for Christmas. Rock It DH Trail, 1.3 mi, -7.6% avg grade
Car Wreck DH Trail, 0.5 mi, -19% avg grade
Lynx DH Trail, 0.5 mi, -12.6% avg grade
Tommy, huge PROPS to you for handing out swag after the Aliso ride. The guy who obviously needed new pedals but eventually took them made the whole video! Also, I'm very impressed for how you treated your staff to Vegas. The hospitality business is extremely demanding and definitely not for everyone with long hours and often underappreciated by difficult customers. You stepped up in a huge way so well done!
Thank you very much 🙏 I appreciate it. It was really cool for me to get to meet riders who watch my channel. You are absolutely right, the restaurant business is extremely hard work, my kitchen staff bust their ass everyday. It was honestly so rewarding for me and wife that we were able to take them to Vegas and share Christmas with them.
Tommy so sick that you got that many people to show up for a ride. Much larger RUclips channels don’t draw that type of crowd. Shows a lot about What people think of you. Very approachable and fun to ride with. Keep it up man ur one of my favorites.

Hahahaha alot of people were saying that but the last thing I want to do is make things worse between mountain bikers and rangers. If we want them to make trails legal and take us seriously we need to do things the right way.

Every trail we hit on this ride is LEGAL. I have been know to hit illegal trails in the past and have been given a ticket for it. I don't advocate riding illegal trails but I am currently try to make some of these "illegal trails" legal. I have some political friends trying to help but the issue is they are state elected officials and these parks are run by Federal government.

How can a ranger give u a ticket if u dont have ur ID with u?
The ticket will be in the name and address you give them, they also do a fingerprint
