Despite being in Baryon Mode, we have to acknowledge that with this level of taijutsu, Naruto would still be a forece to be reckoned with in sage mode

Depends on the fight, really. Against your common, run-of-the-mill human shinobi? Sure, absolutely. Against a skilled, intelligent shinobi with a powerful Kekke Genkai like the Mangekyo Sharingan? He'd struggle a bit - he might even lose due to overexertion because he's not used to fighting without Kurama's superhuman chakra reserves and healing factor. Against someone like an Otsutsuki? He'd be dead before he could blink.
@@Tantalus010 Depends on the Otsutsuki. He can probably still beat Urashiki or Kinshiki, at least with help. Base Momoshiki is also beatable with intel. Kaguya is out of the question and Isshiki... well, it's not like he was ever able to beat Isshiki by himself.

Honestly I just started boruto specifically for naruto and sasuke. And I suppose seeing the og squad of the last series. But when I say I “just started” is a little wrong because I have seen the first 30 or so episodes in the past but it was SO BORING. It was almost like a slice of life instead of action. And I understand that it’s because naruto and the rest brought about peace after the war but like... that’s so not what this world is like.. I now came in with a new mind set and realize the action has build up that takes years but will probably be worth it. Hopefully naruto doesn’t become a useless character in the future. Hopefully they don’t make these new main characters surpass him when they’re still children.
I understand where everyone is coming from, but as someone who has been off-and-on with this series since it began, the OG’s are (more often than not) nerfed background characters. I knew that the moment I watched Sasuke throw three shuriken and a chidori then run out of chakra what this show would be. I knew that the moment characters like Lee and feats such as Eight-Gates Guy vs Madara magically just disappeared (why isn’t Lee here giving Isshiki the hands when he has better hands than Naruto). I knew that the moment Konohamaru…I’m not even about to mention homeboy.
I understand what “Boruto” is but I’m not a fan of the show by any means. I literally only watch the arcs involving Naruto and the OG cast, then go back to forgetting this show exists. Last arc I watched before this one was the Momoshiki arc WAYYY back. Heck, I didn’t start watching this arc until Kawaki got introduced.
In Naruto it was never just about Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and the adults. Kakashi didn’t STAY getting his cheeks clapped and needing to be saved (I actually feared Kakashi for a solid minute). Other characters outside of Team 7 were actually memorable, relevant, and had moments. That entire Sasuke Retrieval Arc is still my favorite arc to this day, an arc where boys became men. People loved Neji, and Lee, and Kiba…heck, even Shino was lit that arc. You had characters like Orochimaru and moments like Kurenai using genjutsu on Itachi (😂😂). There’s none of that here in Boruto.

Then he faints the spinning hook kick to inflict maximum stun damage on him with the solar plexus straight right so he can pull off the “Naruto” combo. This is so well done on every level!

This fight reminded me of Ichigo vs Aizen when he used the Final Getsuga Tenshou. The calmness, stare, and extreme power with simple moves. What a perfect fight sequence. No flashy moves or over the top stuff. Just hand-to-hand combat where you can just feel Naruto’s power. Chills!

@@elishaj2977 With Naruto it felt personal as well. Isshiki launched a direct assault on the Leaf, and had already humiliated Naruto and Sasuke before with Jigen. So yes, it was definitely personal to him as the Hokage and someone that never gives up.

For all the long time fans, 1:05 sequence of taijutsu is a flurry of nostalgia. It’s almost poetic looking back and thinking aside from the Neji fight, his fight against Sasuke was the first time awakening the greater power of the nine tails and this fight against Isshiki was his last time using it. Fitting indeed.

Baryon Mode being red is a perfect symbolism of red leaves becoming fertilizer for new leaves like with Guy's 8 gates mode.
Its a perfect symbolism of how Savage naruto was on that form
every single time naruto has ever used the power of the nine tails from naruto, to shippuden to now he has gotten a red cloak or aura. because the nine tails is a fox and foxes are red and that's just the color of karuma's chakra and the color of karuma himself. It is not symbolism for red falling leaves, because it was not symbolism for falling leaves any of the past times.

What no. Baryon mode being red represents the stars in their final or dying phase. That's why we have red giants -- at their apex but at the same time at their declining phase. Naruto represents the sun (a young star), his chakra mode being yellow/orange in color (an indication of a star being young), along with the term "Baryon" meaning "heavy" -- a fitting characteristic of a dying star -- are clear indications of Baryon mode being associated to stars rather than mere tree leaves. Do some research too because it's weird misinterpreting such things with many almost instantly believing them which is the usual case to anime peeps.

Rewatching this, if you slow it down you can see Naruto change the rasengan to a massive rasengan at 1:32 . Small detail to notice, but probably just incase Isshiki tries to shrink it.

This was probably my favorite episode of Boruto so far, and I wonder why haha.

I just realized Naruto didn’t verbally say Rasengan, because using his mouth would have been an unnecessary move. And since he didn’t verbally announce it, yelling it in his mind would have been superfluous. That sort of attention to detail turns me on.
