In my opinion the best siblings introduced in Genshin so far (in therms or relantionship and development) . There are also a lot of details we could not have noticed. And despite their parents's loss, Ayato stood strong and taught Ayaka everything he could. Truly heartwarming❤️

And so far it seems that they simply appear as a materialization of the subject's ambition, in all of the "Vision" story and character descriptions they simply "find" the vision among their belongings. When Keqing rambles about Rex Lapis giving her a vision, that's her being naive, she never saw Rex Lapis giving any vision to her, she only thinks Rex Lapis gave her a vision because that's her regional God. Same with Klee and other voice lines of the same type.

considering how observant and cunning he is, i like to think that ayato noticed that little bit of cryo energy at 1:30 and purposefully used his hydro vision (even though it would make the duel unfair) to try and push her into unlocking her power, hoping that she would rise to meet the challenge also that little patch of cryo that she made stays on the ground in the following scenes!!
Ayato’s little sly smile at 1:38 supports this, I think. He wouldn’t be looking slightly smug just to beat his own sister in a duel like that (at least that’s not how I see him/his dynamic with Ayaka). I think he senses that something is going to awaken in her. I love your observation!!
For anyone who doesn't understand, basically after their parents I think passed away, Ayato wanted to lead the Kamisato clan himself, but Ayaka didn't want him to shoulder the burden alone. Therefore, they settled on a duel. If Ayaka won, she would help Ayato with things related to the Kamisato clan / Yashiro commission. Before this, Ayaka had never won a duel with Ayato because he has a hydro vision but she was visionless. But because of her strong desire to help Ayato, she gained her cryo vision, and triumphed over her brother for the first time. Therefore the "Shirasagi Himegimi" was born - which is her role in the Yashiro commission currently. Meaning she won, and helped Ayato lead the Yashiro commission. At the end, we can see her carrying out the duty as Shirasagi Himegimi, showing the results sort of.

The part where the video suggests she freezes her "fond" dream/memory that "pushes her to overcome and temper her blade" (awakening cryo vision) was very poetic and beautiful :')
its even more poetic because we usually associate love with warmth and heated passion; but here it's the wish to freeze those fond dreams with her family to push her forward which is love. It's the first time I've ever seen ice being compared love and genshin was so smart about it

I know a lot of people say cryo visions are given to those who have lost something but to be honest I think they are given to those who challenge hardship and dont give up. A majority of cryo users have an issue in their life or a challenge and despite that choose to live and choose their own destiny. Shenhe and her curse, Chongyun and his anger, Qiqi being a zombie, Ayaka and her family role, Kaeya with the whole killing his own people (hillichurls), Aloy being lost in a different world, Ganyu's identity crisis in a human world, Rosaria and her parents death and her ties to the favonius church, and Eula with the clan drama and how people hate her clan.
It wasn't specified who the person she fought was when she got her vision. It wasn't ayato though. This trailer just showed when she become Shirasagi Himegimi. Of course, you can argue that ayato was the reason why she got her vision.
The amount of wholesomeness these siblings have is astonishing. Ayato proudly watching Ayaka announcing the festival to begin was so adorable. Absolutely a siblings bond we wish we all have.

It's amazing how each character represents two ideals: the ideal of their vision and the ideal of their nation. Ayaka received a Cryo vision due to the hardship she experienced as a child (as with other Cryo vision users, in line with the description of the Shivada Jade Gemstone). And now, she hopes her dreams would last forevermore, connecting to the Eternity pursued by Inazuma as a whole.
@@Aetri I feel Ayatos are quite similar: His personal ideal of justice and desire to bring proper justice to everyone for his vision. and the claim of eternity to link to a desire to forever be there for those who might need it. I may have it wrong, I don't personally have him or read his stories, but seems to connect pretty closely to what is of him.
basicly what I receive from this trailer is that Ayaka's ambition or rather wish is to freeze the memory from the moment together of her family deep in her heart for eternity.. so she can cherish it forever... and one of the way she could use it is with sharing the workload of her only family... her brother Ayato..
One thing that I really noticed is that every nation character seems to pursuit their nation ideal in their own way, for example, Jean as the grand master has the hopes of being able to fulfill Venessa's wish of freedom for Mondstadt, while people like Albedo and Sucrose are both free spirits for alchemy and investigation as they are constantly traveling through Mondstadt and Spinedragon for their experiments, while people like Razor holds freedom at its purest having been raised in the wild with no rules except for the natures' Meanwhile, in Liyue, most characters pursuit their own way of raising a business, while people like Xinqiu, Xianglin or Baizhu have business of their own, others like Xiao and Shenhe go on their own, protecting all people they can from spirits, it's not a lucrative business but they manage to use their abilities to serve in other ways And now in Inazuma you just said it, Ayato and Ayaka have this wish to pursuit the eternal prosperity upon their people, maybe in different ways but their goal ends up being the same, while for example Yoimiya has the idea that with her fireworks, she can touch people's hearts and create eternal living memories with her spectacles I really look forward to know how Sumeru characters will search for wisdom

While we're all praising the gorgeous animation can we just take a moment to appreciate the amazing work from the music team once again, they never disappoint.
The best part about genshin for me aside from the gameplay and mechanice, is the the music. I always listen to GI music when im studying, and just relaxing and calming down.
Losing her parents, especially the mother she loved so much, didn't bring her down, but she still lived her life as a princess of the Kamisato clan. Ayato was the only family she had and the best brother to guide his little sister so far. The fighting spirit that radiated from Ayaka's eyes made me want to hug her and treat her like my little sister, this really touched my heart 🥺❤
@@Honed- that's the point, she was very sad after losing her mother who she loved so much but that didn't make her fall for too long and get up after going through a long process of life, this is a reality that we have to accept in our lives which are actually good or bitter to live in this world.
The way Ayato came with all his might, even to the point of using his Hydro Vision at Ayaka, shows he was ready to bear whatever comes to his family alone to protect them. Nevertheless, as if the Sky is watching, a newborn Princess graced him with her awakening, spread her wings, showing him silently, that she is ready to face calamity by his side.
I noticed that too, i love the amount of detail the creator if this video put here. how ayato was doing his signature move of dashing backward and lunging forward with a hydro infused slash, and how a newly "visioned" ayaka managed to infused her sword in the last second with such effort, she has not mastered how to launch enemy, let alone create a whirlwind of snow, but she slashed just enough to throw ayato's blade out of his hand, knowing that winning this duel mean so much to her. the birth of a vision bearer before our very eyes.

Ayato would have been very difficult, if not impossible, to see while attacking using his signature hydro attack. This could symbolize the kind of challenges and troubles Ayaka would have had to deal with or, at least, what Ayato thinks she would have to deal with. These difficulties could suddenly appear and blindside her, hurting her in the process. But, in that moment when it mattered most, Ayaka could see Ayato clearly in her vision, despite his hydro form... a symbolism that little Ayaka is no longer as naive or blind as Ayato may have thought she was.
not sure where you see him using his vision. he doesnt appear to be wearing his vision in that scene at all. they both flash blue for a moment, with ayato leaving feathers in the air when he dashes forward and what appear to be crystals or snowflakes in ayakas case before she strikes. Ayaka does appear to infuse her weapon with cryo though. so if anyting ayaka was using her vision not ayato.

It's actually just his first teaser and demo, they're re upload it but with english dub, because the first teaser and demo of him is in japanese dub, so it's actually his first teaser and demo video but they re upload it on his 2nd re run. Same!! I think is the first time we see *anyone* get a vision. I don’t think anything like this happened in the manga, and it certainly didn’t happen in the game, so it’s really cool to see!
I think this is the first time we've seen the moment a Vision has been granted. We've heard about the moment Kaeya got his vision against Diluc in the manga and in their lore- but it's neat to see a Vision being granted in animation.
I don't want to ruin the fun but I just double checked this, in ayaka's vision passage it says that she got her vision from a duel that was won in a single strike, also in this trailer you can see ayaka step on the ground and frost extend from the step. It was right before the big flashy strike.. so yeah
@@tannukiiruukii Hm, however, it did say 'bested', not win the whole duel, and we see that up until that last point, Ayaka was on the defensive, while Ayato on the offensive, the duel was not in Ayaka's favour. But then in one single strike, she bested Ayato. So I guess that's one way to take it? There's also the dialogue saying that 'something stirs within me' which suggests this is the beginning of something (vision). But rather than argue it if this is the origin or not, works of arts are meant to be interpreted by the individuals who watch it and for them to come up with their own conclusions, no need to argue who's right or wrong, let's all take each other's opinions and settle at that.
Am I the only one that cries watching this? Something about the immense soundtrack and emotion that resonates within the memories of her father and mother.
I definitely cried haha. I love this trailer so much I come back to it once in a while. It's beautiful, Ayaka's love for her family and her determination.

Another detail here is that when she finally besting her brother ayato was the moment she got her cryo vision Its a symbolic representation they kept teasing in her words and past She says she having that same dream over and over again Her love and memories of her family r "frozen" in time inside her heart which fuels her will to finally beat ayato That exact moment u can see her steps r freezing the floor and her sword is suddenly gets applied with cryo Her final form of determination and perseverance to never let go off that memory of her family being together Which is why she got a cryo vision and its lore given in ayaka vision story in game character profile Genshin always have a meaning behind everything from character appearance to powers they use and even their individual hobbies and lore Its just mind blowing how her cryo vision represents her own internal longing of eternity(her time with family) but also the ideals of Ei the god of thunder who wish for eternity(moments to stay forever still) instead of transience There is a deeper meaning behind all this representations Amazing work hoyoverse!
This doesn't match with how she received her Vision "after beating an enemy with a single strike", as here we're very much presented with multiple blows exchanged between the two, before she finally used Cryo powers. The lore also mentions her being in a dojo, rather than outside in her courtyard. Finally, you can't use said powers without the Vision being granted first. You don't "awaken" the powers, and then the god grants the Vision. I think she already had it before fighting Ayato.
This short trailer gives me insight into the character of cryo as an element. Driven by love, someone who is actually quite gentle and affectionate, but takes on the “demeanor” of ice to attack and defend against what threatens the things they cherish. For Ayaka, out of love for her family, her brother, she gained her cryo element the moment her resolve crystallized her fond “dreams” and her desires to defend and support her brother into ice as a blade that will attack and defend what is held dear, what is cherished.
I like to think a lot of them are like that. Ula for instance is one. I think a lot of people mistaken tragedy being the common factor amongst cyro allogenes.
Yeah that's what I hate about the way Genshin delivers stories every couple months lol we keep forgetting important events that happened earlier in the game...
It's kinda sad, you can tell how much Ayaka misses her mother whenever she talks about her. Even in the first trailer, when she says "those were the words of my mother", her expression softens for just a second. Great attention to detail by Mihoyo and the animators.
frrr i love her story a lot!! it’s not close to my situation since i still have my parents and stuff (thankfully lol) but her story jjst speaks to me imagine losing both ur parents at a really young age and you only have your brother by your side,, but u HAVE to stay strong as you’re now the new heir, princess, of a clan, you can’t show a moment of weakness. ayato as well. their characters both are shouldering a lotttt
THE ANIMATION OF THE SIBLINGS FIGHTING WAW i love ayaka's voice here, it really shows how she had to wake up and realise the reality surrounding her. its hard and she took notice at such a young age, its almost relatable
Knowing that Ayaka was one of the first characters developed early on and the amount of detail and art they put into her story, you can tell that Ayaka was always meant to be close to the developers hearts.
Finally a character's vision origin animation. Soon enough there will be more animations like this to flesh out more overshadowed characters, and I'm looking forward into it.
Didn't she leave an ice patch moments before she infusing her blade with cryo? Imo it's more of a moment where she realize she also has to take responsibility and have to grow up, that's why she decided to duel ayato to prove herself, that also explains the end. But hey, nobody has ever seen those vision giving moments before so who knows this might be it.

This is gorgeus. In Ayaka's "About Vision..." dialogue she tells that her vision was granted after beating a foe in a single strike. Watching these while recalling Ayaka's history is so heartwarming. I hope HoYoverse gives more videos like this, this is really great! ❤️
Almost 2 years since this trailer dropped and she has not left my main exploration team since. My best built character till date. What a video! Same reaction everytime I come back to watch this.
This was so pretty and bittersweet. Ayaka and Ayato deserve the best. Also, this style of animation is really different from what they usually do with their normal style of 2d trailer shorts, but I'm not upset with it in the least. It's cool to see them try different things like this every once in a while.
well i"m petty sure hoyoverse have a different animation groups so that maybe the reason why every animation we see are always different [well this is just my guess]
i think its really important to note how messy the string is on the back of her dress. it could symbolize how shes still learning the ropes of how to be an official and part of the clan’s political side. it could also show how her mother isn’t there to tie it. really nice details!
I think this animation reveals how ayaka came to get her vision, her wanting to freeze these moments and memories and her past self deep within her and the cold realization that those days are long gone and that she now has to b move on the what life has in store

This is so heart warming, I can truly see and vision that Ayato cares so much about his sister, he taught her to not be afraid and just use whatever power she can muster through constant dueling, Ayaka should be really proud of herself for getting to where she is, I'm so glad to have both of them to be able to see the story from both sides! 🥺🙏
I love how much effort and detail was dedicated to Ayaka's backstory in here. Didn't expect this for her re-run, but I hope becomes something more frequent with more characters in the future. Definitely you can see the love the devs have for Ayaka.
@@SpikeTheWolf It really seems like it, she has the same birthday as Genshin, and she was the only Inazuman character available from Beta, her kit was also way different to any other character back in the beta, and even her voice actresses are the same as Katherine which is definitely going to be important in the future. Also she was the only character to have a whole dance in her story quest, and also the first character that you MUST do her story quest in order to advance in the archon quest. I think they love her so much partially because she can share with the traveler that feeling of loving your brother a lot, and missing part of your family for x reason. I also think they really had a fun time doing her gameplay kit because you can see she's the only one that can infinite ice bridge, which they KNEW was going to be OP in Inazuma (and most likely other regions too) I'm like 70% expecting her to get a skin as the same time as Thoma, next time Inazuma has an event or something similar. Maybe in Sumeru's update. Cause there's 100% going to be a 5 star inazuma skin and a 4 star inazuma skin , and they're usually lore related to each other, and they wouldn't do that for a new character like Yae or Itto and Gorou tbh And then this WHOLE animation? Yes I think she's their favorite
Ayaka being one of Hoyoverse's favorites, her birthday is the same day as Genshin's Anniversary, her cutscene in game is literally one of best, and now an Animation made just for her rerun
I’m touched by Ayato and Ayakas devotion to their family, each other and their clan. Ayato’s such a supportive and loving big brother, and theyre both extremely mature and responsible. So much respect and love for the Kamisato siblings as I can only imagine the pain of losing their parents and facing the world alone.
Stories such as this makes me so hook on genshin. Any game can have the visuals and breath taking sceneries, but not everyone can have a lore as deep and detailed as genshin. I just turned ar 59 not long ago, im not gonna quit and see myself to the end of the story. We’re at 3/7 of teyvat and almost at Sumeru!
I've watched this half a dozen times already if not more and I cry a bit every time. Everything about this animation is perfect - the symbolism, the imagery, the timing, the music.

@@sentience3033 I don't think you should take poetic stuff so seriously, the dojo is a school, they are probably having a duel in the training grounds, look at their dressing, ayaka isn't in her usual clothes, it's dojo clothes, and she could have used that whatever move you say as a result of awakening, the snowflake was very subtle nobody is gonna be keen enough to look at that detail, and later there is a short stand off before going for the hit, that's when the disco lights started, probably the flowers they meant, also it's totally unreasonable that they go for classic fight and skip to powers in midst of a fight, looking at all this the trailer and the description are pretty accurate. Not to mention the trailer would be more significant this way, nobody is going to spoon feed you details in a game, it's not anime, the same description replace 'opponent' to 'ayato' it sounds dumb and demeaning to the other.
Something I really appreciate about Hoyo is that they have separate channels for every language and dub their videos for each language. Despite my grievances for their game design choices, it's very thoughtful of them to be thorough with this kind of stuff.
So, this is a story about her acquiring a vision. Hopefully soon, we'll get more of this from other characters too. This was just spectacular. I can't wait for more.

She never fails to have a truly beautiful story. Even such a simple tale about her winning her first duel really tugs at the heart strings. Cannot wait for her rerun in a couple days
Personally I want one for Itto showing his sad childhood and maybe his sumo duel he had with Sara (most likely) when they were kids (TL:DR they had a sumo match on a mountain that ended with them rolling down it. Itto sprained his ankle and she had to carry him home.) And I’d also love one with Albedo, Klee and Alice.
Hoyoverse just really love Ayaka so much that even the ceo did her motion dance tracing, birthday same as their anniversary and then got two cool animation trailers for her. Hopefully we get these kind of animations with the others too.
Unfortunately, the rumor of the ceo doing the motion dance is fake. He was just showcasing the motion movement but no reliable info says that he did the dance for Ayaka.
These are the best siblings, truly. Ayato did everything he could to not let the Kamisafo clan die, but despite him being so busy to save his dynasty, he always kept some spare time for Ayaka. So heartwarming and wholesome 💕

For anyone who doesn't understand, basically after their parents I think passed away, Ayato wanted to lead the Kamisato clan himself, but Ayaka didn't want him to shoulder the burden alone. Therefore, they settled on a duel. If Ayaka won, she would help Ayato with things related to the Kamisato clan / Yashiro commission. Before this, Ayaka had never won a duel with Ayato because he has a hydro vision but she was visionless. But because of her strong desire to help Ayato, she gained her cryo vision, and triumphed over her brother for the first time. Therefore the "Shirasagi Himegimi" was born - which is her role in the Yashiro commission currently. Meaning she won, and helped Ayato lead the Yashiro commission. At the end, we can see her carrying out the duty as Shirasagi Himegimi, showing the results sort of.

I know a lot of people say cryo visions are given to those who have lost something but to be honest I think they are given to those who challenge hardship and dont give up. A majority of cryo users have an issue in their life or a challenge and despite that choose to live and choose their own destiny. Shenhe and her curse, Chongyun and his anger, Qiqi being a zombie, Ayaka and her family role, Kaeya with the whole killing his own people (hillichurls), Aloy being lost in a different world, Ganyu's identity crisis in a human world, Rosaria and her parents death and her ties to the favonius church, and Eula with the clan drama and how people hate her clan.

It's amazing how each character represents two ideals: the ideal of their vision and the ideal of their nation. Ayaka received a Cryo vision due to the hardship she experienced as a child (as with other Cryo vision users, in line with the description of the Shivada Jade Gemstone). And now, she hopes her dreams would last forevermore, connecting to the Eternity pursued by Inazuma as a whole.

I may have it wrong, I don't personally have him or read his stories, but seems to connect pretty closely to what is of him.
basicly what I receive from this trailer is that Ayaka's ambition or rather wish is to freeze the memory from the moment together of her family deep in her heart for eternity.. so she can cherish it forever... and one of the way she could use it is with sharing the workload of her only family... her brother Ayato..
One thing that I really noticed is that every nation character seems to pursuit their nation ideal in their own way, for example, Jean as the grand master has the hopes of being able to fulfill Venessa's wish of freedom for Mondstadt, while people like Albedo and Sucrose are both free spirits for alchemy and investigation as they are constantly traveling through Mondstadt and Spinedragon for their experiments, while people like Razor holds freedom at its purest having been raised in the wild with no rules except for the natures'
Meanwhile, in Liyue, most characters pursuit their own way of raising a business, while people like Xinqiu, Xianglin or Baizhu have business of their own, others like Xiao and Shenhe go on their own, protecting all people they can from spirits, it's not a lucrative business but they manage to use their abilities to serve in other ways
And now in Inazuma you just said it, Ayato and Ayaka have this wish to pursuit the eternal prosperity upon their people, maybe in different ways but their goal ends up being the same, while for example Yoimiya has the idea that with her fireworks, she can touch people's hearts and create eternal living memories with her spectacles
I really look forward to know how Sumeru characters will search for wisdom

Ayaka's theme is a masterpiece.
Losing her parents, especially the mother she loved so much, didn't bring her down, but she still lived her life as a princess of the Kamisato clan. Ayato was the only family she had and the best brother to guide his little sister so far. The fighting spirit that radiated from Ayaka's eyes made me want to hug her and treat her like my little sister, this really touched my heart 🥺❤

Ayato would have been very difficult, if not impossible, to see while attacking using his signature hydro attack. These difficulties could suddenly appear and blindside her, hurting her in the process.

not sure where you see him using his vision. he doesnt appear to be wearing his vision in that scene at all. they both flash blue for a moment, with ayato leaving feathers in the air when he dashes forward and what appear to be crystals or snowflakes in ayakas case before she strikes. Ayaka does appear to infuse her weapon with cryo though. so if anyting ayaka was using her vision not ayato.

I think this is the first time we've seen the moment a Vision has been granted. We've heard about the moment Kaeya got his vision against Diluc in the manga and in their lore- but it's neat to see a Vision being granted in animation.
I don't want to ruin the fun but I just double checked this, in ayaka's vision passage it says that she got her vision from a duel that was won in a single strike, also in this trailer you can see ayaka step on the ground and frost extend from the step. It was right before the big flashy strike.. so yeah
@@tannukiiruukii Hm, however, it did say 'bested', not win the whole duel, and we see that up until that last point, Ayaka was on the defensive, while Ayato on the offensive, the duel was not in Ayaka's favour. But then in one single strike, she bested Ayato. So I guess that's one way to take it? There's also the dialogue saying that 'something stirs within me' which suggests this is the beginning of something (vision). But rather than argue it if this is the origin or not, works of arts are meant to be interpreted by the individuals who watch it and for them to come up with their own conclusions, no need to argue who's right or wrong, let's all take each other's opinions and settle at that.

This doesn't match with how she received her Vision "after beating an enemy with a single strike", as here we're very much presented with multiple blows exchanged between the two, before she finally used Cryo powers. The lore also mentions her being in a dojo, rather than outside in her courtyard. Finally, you can't use said powers without the Vision being granted first. You don't "awaken" the powers, and then the god grants the Vision. I think she already had it before fighting Ayato.

This short trailer gives me insight into the character of cryo as an element. Driven by love, someone who is actually quite gentle and affectionate, but takes on the “demeanor” of ice to attack and defend against what threatens the things they cherish.
For Ayaka, out of love for her family, her brother, she gained her cryo element the moment her resolve crystallized her fond “dreams” and her desires to defend and support her brother into ice as a blade that will attack and defend what is held dear, what is cherished.
I like to think a lot of them are like that. Ula for instance is one.

It's kinda sad, you can tell how much Ayaka misses her mother whenever she talks about her. Even in the first trailer, when she says "those were the words of my mother", her expression softens for just a second. Great attention to detail by Mihoyo and the animators.

Almost 2 years since this trailer dropped and she has not left my main exploration team since. My best built character till date. What a video! Same reaction everytime I come back to watch this.
This was so pretty and bittersweet. Ayaka and Ayato deserve the best. Also, this style of animation is really different from what they usually do with their normal style of 2d trailer shorts, but I'm not upset with it in the least. It's cool to see them try different things like this every once in a while.

i think its really important to note how messy the string is on the back of her dress. it could symbolize how shes still learning the ropes of how to be an official and part of the clan’s political side. it could also show how her mother isn’t there to tie it. really nice details!

This is so heart warming, I can truly see and vision that Ayato cares so much about his sister, he taught her to not be afraid and just use whatever power she can muster through constant dueling, Ayaka should be really proud of herself for getting to where she is, I'm so glad to have both of them to be able to see the story from both sides! 🥺🙏

@@SpikeTheWolf It really seems like it, she has the same birthday as Genshin, and she was the only Inazuman character available from Beta, her kit was also way different to any other character back in the beta, and even her voice actresses are the same as Katherine which is definitely going to be important in the future. Also she was the only character to have a whole dance in her story quest, and also the first character that you MUST do her story quest in order to advance in the archon quest.
I think they love her so much partially because she can share with the traveler that feeling of loving your brother a lot, and missing part of your family for x reason. I also think they really had a fun time doing her gameplay kit because you can see she's the only one that can infinite ice bridge, which they KNEW was going to be OP in Inazuma (and most likely other regions too)
I'm like 70% expecting her to get a skin as the same time as Thoma, next time Inazuma has an event or something similar. Maybe in Sumeru's update. Cause there's 100% going to be a 5 star inazuma skin and a 4 star inazuma skin , and they're usually lore related to each other, and they wouldn't do that for a new character like Yae or Itto and Gorou tbh

Stories such as this makes me so hook on genshin. Any game can have the visuals and breath taking sceneries, but not everyone can have a lore as deep and detailed as genshin. I just turned ar 59 not long ago, im not gonna quit and see myself to the end of the story. We’re at 3/7 of teyvat and almost at Sumeru!

@@sentience3033 I don't think you should take poetic stuff so seriously, the dojo is a school, they are probably having a duel in the training grounds, look at their dressing, ayaka isn't in her usual clothes, it's dojo clothes, and she could have used that whatever move you say as a result of awakening, the snowflake was very subtle nobody is gonna be keen enough to look at that detail, and later there is a short stand off before going for the hit, that's when the disco lights started, probably the flowers they meant, also it's totally unreasonable that they go for classic fight and skip to powers in midst of a fight, looking at all this the trailer and the description are pretty accurate. Not to mention the trailer would be more significant this way, nobody is going to spoon feed you details in a game, it's not anime, the same description replace 'opponent' to 'ayato' it sounds dumb and demeaning to the other.

Something I really appreciate about Hoyo is that they have separate channels for every language and dub their videos for each language. Despite my grievances for their game design choices, it's very thoughtful of them to be thorough with this kind of stuff.

Didn't Ayaka get her vision inside a dojo? Also, her story said that she got her vision after defeating the opponent in a single strike. Here, she never landed a hit on Ayato, she disarmed him.
She never fails to have a truly beautiful story. Even such a simple tale about her winning her first duel really tugs at the heart strings. Cannot wait for her rerun in a couple days

(TL:DR they had a sumo match on a mountain that ended with them rolling down it. Itto sprained his ankle and she had to carry him home.)

These are the best siblings, truly. Ayato did everything he could to not let the Kamisafo clan die, but despite him being so busy to save his dynasty, he always kept some spare time for Ayaka. So heartwarming and wholesome 💕
