For someone who seems to hate video games so much, she really can't stand not being involved in the industry
Correctly identified it was a source of money but didn't have the skills to be directly involved.
That is because she wants to take male-dominated spaces and destroy them, just as others like her did with the American comic book industry, which is now on life support. They hate men.

Saw the video of Anita saying she wasn't a gamer quite a while ago. The fact that people high up in the gaming industry keep hiring her as a consultant is ridiculous. I can only assume that these people share her politics or are so incredibly incompetent that they don't actually look into who they hire to advise them.

Skeezian has bewn the kiss of death for multiple projects already. She's done. The only way She'll ever work in that industry again is if she is never listed in any game credits. A completely deserved downfall that was 100% earned

John Flynt for example wouldn't have had nearly as much effect on the industry because he's clearly a man and he clearly doesn't believe the progressive ideology. He just wants to make the money. Him recently turning on progressives and claiming that they're holding back the left is evidence of this. Sarkeesian would never do that.

She did DEI consulting (...grifting :P) before ppl talked about DEI consulting the way it is talked these days. She was invited by Bioware around the time the smash hit Anthem was developed. There are probably multiple more examples and its probably the reason why she only lists companys she worked with but not the games that died off afterwards.
She insulted millions of players then was surprised they threw it back in her face. Poor little professional female victim.
Same goes to Alyssa. Anita did it first, alyssa did it worse.
I learned a lot from Anita. I learned that some people are legitimately NPCs who will listen to strangers on the internet over people they have known for years IRL. I learned that having deep knowledge of a field is worthless in front of a PR campaign. And I learned that even people deep in the field (game developers in this case) will play along rather than face the wrath of the zeitgeist.
How did I learn all this? Because I, alongside anyone who had played X360 at the time, could see she was a fraud. How? First off, no one uses the D-pad. X360 had the best controller ever made for a console imo.... except for the D-pad. It was terrible. This led to virtually no games using the d-pad. Furthermore, her game collection made no sense.... unless you realize that it's the exact available stock you'd find in a gamestop. Because sure.... Anita totally played through all the Gears of War games! Totally her kind of game series......
But, like I said, people who knew me for years would rather believe some fraud on the internet.
Oh, and also, Anita didn't do any of that work herself, it was all that dude McIntosh or whatever his name was, who did everything and just handed her a script. That's why, after he left (he probably got angry and told her the truth, something she couldn't handle), Sarky's content went to absolute dung.
Her gaming collection was also suspiciously gotten rid of as SOON as her "games are misogynistic" angle seemed played out (an easy way to spot someone trying to take advantage of a trend). NO ACTUAL gamer gets rid of their games THAT quickly and completely. She DELIBERATELY chose the games with "problematic elements" and then presented that as "all games are like this". Also, there seems to be NO FOOTAGE of her actually playing and completing ANY of those games.
Key word there "nonprofit" pretty much translates to give me money or i black mail u.

I know a couple of people here on RUclips acting like Jack Thompson.
He was misguided, but I don't think Thompson was ever driven by hate or ideology. Like many Boomers of his time, Thompson didn't understand the medium of video games and thought they were "harming" the children.

Don't forget that this is a Devil that feeds on attention and "mean tweets", so don't give her what she wants. She's sensed that anger about the current state of gaming is rising, so she's fishing for "proof" that gaming has a sickness and that she can sell us the cure.
One of the few things I agree with is that "Games have positive benefits" I credit them for my not only being here still but they also helped me when I was hurt by a "lifter." They helped me reconnect socially with others, increased my problem-solving ability, and assisted with my relearning to read. Not to mention the hand/eye coordination. So yeah, without games, I probably would not be, well, be.

@oz_jones Dan has his own new Studio he is working on a New open world game. Sam is still at Rockstar and two the main writers from previous Rockstar games worked on GTA6. Its the Next game that is a concern.

If she gets a job in my industry I'm 1000% out. I have 15+ years as a combat designer, 8 AAA shipped titles as a combat designer, and still can't find work since Embracer laid us off in March. Love being told I don't meet their business needs or that they're looking for other candidates. Only to learn that the hired person is a former principal, lead, or director taking the senior designer role.

It literally does not matter in which industry Anita ends up working. If I ever design a game, I'll consult with either Anita or SBI. If they approve of anything, that part of the script will be rewritten. I'd only sign off on a final product when they hated the entirety of the project.
