Cool looking state park! Reminds me of Cuyahoga Valley National Park up by Akron. At 14:30 - LOL! Nothing quite so relaxing as vacationing around hillbillies and potential cannibalization!
I know I always say it but your broll and editing are literally the best. No one can beat your vlogs! Cameron, you've outdone yourself with this one. Everything looked like so much fun. That creepy barn! And the pig in the antique store made me laugh. So much great footage here. You guys looked like you had an amazing time! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us! So cool 🔥
Fun video Cameron! Really cool antique stores. Such great nostalgia. They seem to be the best places to find older hardback kids series books--at least in the wild. I picked up a few in an antique mall near me yesterday. I enjoyed just--well, everything--in this video. Friday the 13th! Yes!
Thank you so much for taking us on your trip with your family!!! I would have been all up in that Pac-Man game too! I really enjoy watching you shop for books, because it teaches me to look deeper for book treasures. Sometimes I just assume that certain places won't have good vintage books, but watching you has helped me take a minute and look a little closer!
i'm from a place where not even one antique/vintage mall exist so i find your vlogs very exciting to watch. plus dude your video editing skills are a gift i feel like i live there by watching this.
Looks like you guys had a great lil getaway! So nice that you've got a sister and BIL to go on these lil adventures with (as an only child I'm a bit jealous haha). Lots of great finds too!
Honestly that book store has been under “renovation” for over a year and the workers have been rude every time I’ve ever been as well 😅 so your experience is pretty on par sadly. If you’re ever in the area again there is a Fairfield county ran bookstore that carries a lot of older books that were donated off Main Street near the Kroger. I know you said you’re not out that way often but might be worth it next time! Glad to see you back and love your vlogs! Always super enjoyable ❤
I can’t believe how over in America where you live, you guys have so many thrift shops with vintage horror! The most that I saw when I went to one was 5! And I've been to at least ten. Ughhhh! But, at least I am beginning a collection. This was perfect! The way when you immediately walked into your room you said “Ooh! A writing desk!” that made me laugh. Your family being in the video is a fantastic addition. Altogether, great video, Cam! Keep it up.
Hi Cam, this was an awesome Vlog as usual- great footage. I'm excited to get Autumncrow High once it is out. Thank goodness you didn't come face to face with Jason. 📚🫖👻 The cats in the bookstore looked so cute and those antique stores. 😍 That's a real shame re the quality of books in the book store as well as the store person being rude. It's so good to get first printings of books.
Also my book shelf is right next to my TV and all my old vintage books in "hot mess" physical condition are getting self conscious listening to all this talk about creased and tilted spines and sun damage. 🌞
I loved this, it looks like you guys had a blast. The wire carousel with the paperbacks brought back memories. But I have to say, I just really want the painting of the creepy little girl.
That's so cool that you get to do stuff like this with your sister! If I asked my siblings to go on a hiking trip with me, they would ask if I've been smoking crack lol!
Enjoyed the latest episode of LM. Thanks! BTW, in one part you're wearing a t-shirt that says "The Reptile" at the top, but couldn't see the graphic. Is that the 1960s Hammer film?
This may be the best vlog video I have ever watched: bookstores, book hauls, coffee shops, diners and mom & pop restaurants, the great outdoors, pizza, and Pac-Man. I always look forward to cameos from your sister and brother-in-law. Your sister is hilarious. Thank you for taking us along on your trip to Hocking Hills, so to speak. You found some awesome books and Mothy (that's what I call him) is the best. Have a great week, Cameron!
Wow!! What a great trip. The best of every trip is finding the out-of-place used book store!! And antique stores for more books!! Thanx so much for sharing this.
That collapsing barn you showed us at 19:42 would make a great setting for scary story, even though there isn't much in there. Maybe it's haunted and the scares begin when something inside follows you home... DUN DUN DUUUNNN!!!
When I saw you with the open book in the car, I was like oh I'm so envious, I can't do that or I'll hurl everywhere. And then you said you can't read in the car, and I went AH A KINDRED SPIRIT!
It feels so good to be out and about with Cameron again! Awesome vlog as per usual. Happy belated birthday to Autumncrow btw, it's still the perfect Halloween read even 3 years later if your still wondering, really influential in my own writing. Thank you for existing cam 😅
I was at paperback exchange earlier in October and had a totally different experience! The owner was there and he was the one who rang out my books, he was super nice and knowledgeable, we chatted about books for almost 30 mins
Great video! Laughed at the comment "way more convenient prey" at night on Friday 13th lol Great idea to go to location like that on Fri 13th. Loved seeing your trip thanks so much for sharing & what a great haul you found. Friday the 13th part 2 is amazing too. Looking forward to the next video......
Hi. 👋🏼 My mom has "The Entity" so it was pretty cool that it was in the 1st bookstore you video. So sorry you had that experience at the bookstore. Customer Service is not what it use to be, sadly. I have experienced so much of cashiers talking amongst themselves across the lanes, coming over to the aisle I'm in, talking to their friends on the phone (yes!) & in person, cursing, etc...smh. When I do come across great, even good Customer service, it's so refreshing. Anyhoo, I kind of went on a ramble there. 😊 This video was awesome. Great editing. Your sister cracked me up; especially slowly backing away from the window. It's too bad it seems as though people like myself wouldn't be welcomed in that town because I would absolutely love to stay where you guys were. I live in IL too so it isn't a long travel. Enough of this commenting. 🙂 Thanks Cameron. Congrats on your book finds.
"...before you guys think I'm a total nutcase" he said, as if to spare his long lost reputation LOL This was such a good idea! And a cool looking haul, too bad about the store owner :/
Honestly, I worked customer service all through college, and after you've been cussed out and threatened multiple times a day every day for years while making nine bucks an hour -- customers all just seem like cardboard cutouts. It's unprofessional for sure, but on nine bucks an hour, you get what you pay for.

Great video I really like your book hauls 👍
I liked this travel and book shopping video. I hope I calm down and focus enough to someday write a horror book.

How do you clean your books? Have you made a video about that? Would really like to know.
Me too I've been buying a lot of used books lately I'd love some tips
Great video! Love the Tales of the Crypt hat!
Rad video as always!
Oh my god there were TWO kitties at that bookstore! TWO!
Looks like you guys had a great lil getaway! So nice that you've got a sister and BIL to go on these lil adventures with (as an only child I'm a bit jealous haha). Lots of great finds too!
Love your book shopping videos 😁📚.
I love these vlogs. That place looks like a lot of fun! 👻
Love it. That air b&b looked like so much fun. 💚💚
The Witch of Spring and the mothman figure are awesome finds! Thanks for sharing your trip, Cameron. Was brilliant spooky season vibes

I had no idea the the Bobbsey twins was a book series.

I know it has nothing to do with the video but i think it's wonderful you have such a close relationship with your family! Congrats to all of you!
Also my book shelf is right next to my TV and all my old vintage books in "hot mess" physical condition are getting self conscious listening to all this talk about creased and tilted spines and sun damage. 🌞
I always wait till nighttime to watch these videos 👻, thank you for this channel Cameron!
The cats in the store 😻😻
I loved this, it looks like you guys had a blast. The wire carousel with the paperbacks brought back memories. But I have to say, I just really want the painting of the creepy little girl.

Love your vlogs. I've recently discovered a great secondhand bookshop near me and already spent way too much money there 😆

Loved the vlog! Look liked such a fun weekend trip with the family.
Your vlogs are amazing!! Loved the scenery, food, and book haul. So glad you are back!! Stay spooky 👻🕷🕸🎃
Oh no sorry you had a bad experience at that bookstore. Did they not know they were dealing with a man of vintage book royalty?! 😜
Amazing vlog! The setting definetly has vibes for a horror movie, a more canny one for sure.
Cameron-Yo~unreal ! 🤘
This is all awesome, Cameron! 🎃💀👻
This was amazing 😃 I’ve missed your vlogs the most! Looks like you guys had a great time.

Love these vlogs!!
This was so fun!
I’m glad you liked it! 😁
Moving vehicles and words don't mix for me.
Hey creeps!
Ruth Fielding is a strange series--starts out like Anne of Green Gables or Pollyanna, about an orphan girl, but became more mystery later on.
💜🎵💜

I am a new sub, so I was wondering have you read Victoria Holt ? I LOVE her mysteries!
Hey Cam, I would like to know, have you seen Movie, The Boy, about a doll named Brahms? What did you think?
How anyone could be rude to you is just.. ughh wrong. You ooze kindness even through a screen!
Beautiful video 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
