@TIM Arellano For us, the biggest draw of Royal level was the food for breakfast and lunch. It was much better overall than the buffet especially. The standard dinner restaurants were good around the resort though. You also get use of both the Royal and First Club pool areas. If we went back, I feel that we would choose Standard, unless we somehow found a really good deal on Royal though, because I'm not sure that the cost difference would be worth those perks for a longer stay. For a short stay, we would probably do Royal, ha ha... :P

WOW! What an amazing suite "cabin"!! Those views were amazing, although I know y'all are gonna miss those monkey babies! Always great to see the "in the shower with Jay" and that first shower looked very nice, for sure. I wonder if you used that lovely hot tub with the jets? That little view of the rocks with the interesting plant/weed was unique...it had a potential to be a cute little garden, I think...but you are not lacking greenery at that resort for sure! Of course I loved Dee's cover-up; I'm thinking of getting something similar to that for my journeys...so fancy! I was laughing with you talking about having chili in the pool! Those kiddos were very cute, and the Barbie devastation was...also cute! Thanks for taking us along! 💗

Beautiful suite, and wow!...L’Occitane soaps/lotions..those are terrific. I’ve spent quite a few dollars at their stores over the years. Hope they restocked regularly, in case Dee wanted to take a few home. Thanks for sharing your trip with us all.

Did they tell you what you could feed the monkeys? Like, fruit only? I love all the little babies 🐒 The food all looks so good. I need to look into Mexico, everything looks so nice!
They didn't specifically say, and there were signs around the property warning against feeding things to the animals that could be toxic. But when we asked waiters and staff members if we could have fruit for the monkeys, they were always happy to oblige. So it's a known thing... but I don't think they "encourage" it officially, ha ha... :P
We are considering this resort for our next trip to Mexico, your videos are very helpful. Quick question if you have a moment, is there a sofa bed in the Royal Level Suite? We are a family of four and looking for a room that we can have a king bed for us and separate sleeping for the kids. Thank you!
Ok I been binging you guys for days now lol..we are going to this resort in 2 weeks. Would you say it was worth upgrading? If you don't mind what was the cost to upgrade? We are staying at the junior suite but considering royal level
We went over our pricing in the wrap-up video at the end of the series, but I'm sure it can be drastically different at times of the year. For us, the main benefit of upgrading was the a la carte restaurant for breakfast and lunch rather than having to eat at the buffet. You also get use of not only the Royal Level pool but the First Club pool, as well as the bar and area up above the beach lagoon. We were perfectly happy in standard level, but glad we upgraded for a few days. :P

I am going to request for your room number because I love being as close to the ocean as possible on our trips. How is the Wi-Fi in your room and is there a charge for it?
Thanks so much! There is normally a charge for the wi-fi from what we understand, but it’s included right now because of the need for digital menus and such. But the signal worked well all over the property and in the rooms.
From what I see on their website, they offer a "Royal Level Luxury" (which doesn't have "suite" in the name) which would be a standard room like we had in the first half of the vlogs without a separate sitting area, but in the Royal level. Then there's the "Royal Level Suite" which is what we had in this video. I don't see anything with the wording "Royal Luxury Suite" on their site.
We upgraded to the 7 as of this Mexico trip, and we can already tell it's a lot smoother-looking than the 5. I'm sure your new one will be awesome, hah!! :D

In the olden days 😂 toilet paper used to be scented,and they used to have different colors.
I don't think I'd ever experienced baby powder scented toilet paper, but it was fantastic!! :P

Are you expected to tip for the drinks and restaurants? I tipped at the Xcaret hotel, I felt like they expected it.
The staff there looked surprised most times when we tipped, so it didn't seem expected, but it was appreciated!! :D

Just curious how much light did the bedroom curtains let in early in the morning?
The curtains at all our rooms in Occidental Xcaret seemed to do the job well. We didn't have any issues with light, and slept well!! :D
