Everything went well but you do not have a part blocking the alternator from coming out easy like I do. Not sure why

What part? Maybe I can help.

I’m having the same issue right now. The engine cover has a larger plastic cover that extends forward and on the left side where the alternator would slide out there is a circular part bolted near the main part of the engine

@@michaelzarpas1518 I took my plastic engine cover off. It just pops off. Or are you talking about something else?

@@michaelzarpas1518 any plastic guards should be an easy removal and allow you more room to work. Hope this helps!

Yeah, in other videos they had to take out the power steering pump that was right directly above the alternator. I haven’t gotten to the vehicle yet, but I feel like that’s what I’m gonna run into.

I just simply cannot get the alternator to come out of what I’m guessing that groove is where the long screw is idk all bolts and screws are off but idk it wiggles back and forth but simply won’t come out

Hey just saw this. Make sure that bottom bolt is loose loose. Use some WD40 or PB blaster. Really loosen it back and forth then use the move I showed with the crow bar to rock side to side. It’ll pop outta that groove with enough working it.

@@TheDIYDoc omg took about a good 3 hours of wiggling back and forth and a good rain shower and after 2 more hours of straight elbow grease came out !

@@Turnpikefos sorry brother! Glad she broke loose. I used PB blaster and I am about 6’1” 225 so I can believe it. I had to muscle it out too. Glad you got her. Overall did the video show all the steps you needed? I like feedback
